It’s amazing how many talented riders and people come from the Portland, Oregon area. I recently came across Jason’s work when he shot the photos for Bruce Crisman’s interview a while back. I was really stoked on the photos so I decided to hit up Jason to see if he would be interested in doing a fresh photo gallery for us. When I saw the photos, I knew we had to do an interview to go with them because they were so good. Luckily, Jason was up for it all and here we have it! “The Common Crew is made up of a bunch of high school kids from the Huntington Beach, California area. Most of them are only 14 or 15-years-old, but they shred. I caught up with some of the dudes and cruised around some of their local spots and shot this video. Riders include Julian Arteaga, Jacob Cable, Kevin Hamusek, Josh Barker, Chad Bennett, Abdullah Alkhalili, Bobby Holland, and a guest clip from Devon Smillie.
