Welcome to Poland – Rafal Kierc

October 7, 2013

The scene over in Poland has been absolutely nuts for a while now, but it looks like we’re going to start getting an even closer look in this new series that Epic TV is putting out called “Welcome to Poland”. Check out the first episode featuring some banger park riding from Rafal Kierc!

“‘Welcome to Poland’ is a series about the Polish BMX scene, the best riders and the best spots to ride – that’s right, in Poland. The first episode is about Rafa Kierc, one of the best Polish BMX skatepark riders. He wins almost every single contest he enters, and there’s a good reason why. Watch this video and you’ll see. When it comes to BMX riding, he’s extremely stubborn – learning and trying new tricks over and over again, till he bleeds. We spend a lot of time at his local skatepark in Olsztyn and check out some other local parks, so ENJOY! Rafa Kierc, BMX Skatepark Legend Bleeds Talent | Welcome to Poland, Ep. 1” – Epic TV

G-Sport – Pleg 2: Completely Re-Designed

October 7, 2013

We have been seeing the Pleg 2 from G-Sport popping up for a little while now, but it looks like they’re finally done and shipping! Check out this quick video featuring Broc Raiford putting the new pegs to the test while they show you the different changes and features.

“The Pleg 2 features a completely re-designed 7075 aluminum core and proprietary plastic sleeve. This new design allows for a smaller overall peg diameter and substantially increases stiffness. The Pleg 2 core runs 3/4′s of the length of the sleeve so direct damage to the core’s end can be avoided, simplifying sleeve removal and maintaining socket fit.

Sleeve Length: 100mm / 4″
Sleeve Diameter: 39mm / 1.5″ (“Normal” Steel peg diameter)
Core Configuration: 14mm or 3/8″

Mellowpark Diggers Jam

October 7, 2013

Here’s a fresh one the Zwanzig-Zoll guys sent through from the trails jam that went down at Mellowpark recently with all of the guys who are in charge of keeping that place as dialed as it is! It looks like the trails were running amazing, the sun was out and some real good riding was going down. Take a peek!

“There is a small bunch of guys, who take care of the trails at the Mellowpark in Berlin for more than 10 years now. Those dudes probably dig more than they ride and call themselves DRK CREW. Thanks to them the park offers ridable lines each and every year since the very beginning. I am proud to consider myself part of the crew and looking forward to more years on these hills – on my bike or with a shovel in my hand…

Sometimes the guys even pull it off to organize a small jam. So here is our video of the Mellowpark Diggers Jam 2013!
