Product: The Make – No Idea Frame

The Make have been working with Chicken for a while on a signature frame. The “No Idea” frame is a 4130 Sanko chromoly frame with double butting on the top and down tubes and seat stays. The No Idea has a 74.5 degree head tube angle, 71 degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height, and a 13.75″ chainstay length. Chicken’s frame has features like a CNC machined and heat-treated head tube, internally and externally butted seat tube with an integrated seat post clamp, heat-treated externally and internally CNC machined bottom bracket, removable brake mounts and a 5mm thick heat-treated bottom bracket.
The No Idea weighs in at 4.8 lbs with 21″ for the top tube length and gloss black or JD green for color options.

Sneak Peek: Proper Prototypes

Proper dropped this photo of Max Wood’s Trawlerman prototype frame today. There are no specs or further details, but it sure does look pretty. They also dropped a photo of their new matte black colorway that will possibly be ready in time for the holidays.

Product: Cult OS V3 Frame

Cult third version of their Overseas frame is now available. This time around you can find thicker chromoly belnded Cult classic tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, an 8.75″ stand over height and 13.55″ chain stay length. You can also find the Cult OS head tube, bottom bracket and gussets, s-bend chain stays, a tapered top tube, heat-treated drop outs, a wider rear triangle for those big tires, and blue, raw, black or red for colors.

Product: FBM Steadfast V2

“The latest frame from FBM is handcrafted in NY and features SuperTherm top and down tubes, a 3D laser cut 4130 chromoly down tube gusset, an integrated seat post clamp, and tapered seat and chain stays. New for version 2 of the Steadfast are straight gauge top and down tubes to reduce denting and a larger diameter chain stay bridge for increased stiffness.
It is available in Flat Brown and Trans Red, and 20-3/4″, 21″ and 21.5″ top tubes.

Where the hell does time go? It seems like Cult dropped their first run of frames a little while ago. Nope – it’s been over a year now. They’ve got an updated version of the American made Bad Boy and Deathrow frames for 2011 and they’re hitting shops now. You can get all the specs below for both frames as well.

V2 Bad Boy
USA manufacturing, S-bend chain stays, heat treated drop outs, chromoly alloy blended Cult Classic tubing, Cult IC seat clamp. Available in Black and Raw.
