Vans – UltraRange Pro Shoe

Let’s take a closer look at the new Vans UltraRange Pro shoes…

Remember when riding shoes used to be bulky and heavy? It’s kind of crazy to think about much shoes have changed over the years as far as weight and looks go. A few years ago the UltraCush line from Vans was released which made for a super lightweight shoe that is really comfortable to walk and hang out in. They weren’t ideal to ride in because the material is more of a foam than rubber and would get torn apart from the pedals. Vans decided it was time to bring together the comfort of the UltraCush line and the durability of the classic Waffle Sole to make a shoe that was built to ride in, but still was comfortable to wear. The UltraRange Pro is that shoe! The UltraRange shoe features a new UltraCush Lite midsole compound which gives amazing impact cushioning with the Duracap upper reinforcements in high wear spots to help keep the shoe durable, suede uppers for a clean look and the Vans Waffle Outsole for grip and support. Inside you can find the Luxline sock-fit construction which helps keep the weight down and reduces rubbing and hot spots, too.

Etnies – Chase Hawk Spring 2017 Jameson MT

The spring 2017 shoes from Etnies have been popping up and it looks like Chase Hawk has a new colorway on the Jameson MT shoe that he collaborated with the very in-demand graphic designer / tattoo artist Thomas Hooper that has been doing a bunch of collaborations in BMX lately.

Jameson MT

The Jameson MT starts out with a an upper that mixes suede and canvas, with medial vent holes and a mesh tongue and collar for airflow and comfort. Down low you can find the Duo-Grip outsole that’ll give you plenty of traction on the pedals. Inside you can find the Foam Lit 1 insole with graphics by Thomas Hooper (see below), along with wide tongue straps for a better fit.

The Chase Hawk Spring 2017 Jameson MT comes in black with maroon accents and a white sole and various sizes between 7 and 14. You can pick the shoes up for $64.99 direct from the Etnies Webstore now.

Etnies – Chase Hawk Signature Jameson SC – Spring 2017

Let’s take a look at Chase Hawk’s signature Etnies Jameson SC shoe.

The spring 2017 shoes from Etnies have arrived. Here’s a look at Chase Hawk‘s latest signature colorway that you can find on the Jameson SC. This shoe starts out with an upper made from a breathable mesh canvas that you can find on the tongue and vamp as well, a printed Etnies logo, a stitched on tag and round laces. Below that, you can find an exposed STI Evolution Foam Midsole and Outsole for plenty of comfort. Inside there are Lycra spandex tongue straps that allow you to go laceless if you prefer and the Recycled Open Cell PU Foam Insole adds to the comfort.

These shoes aren’t ideal for riding in, but they are great for the times you are off the bike.
