Boyd Hilder has been on FIRE lately. The other week we got his “Volume 2” section that was amazing. Now, we get this promo video for his signature MERA SHOE from Verve Footwear. As expected, Boyd went to work on street spots and skateparks, absolutely crushing everything from rails, ledges and stair sets to transitions, putting his bag of tricks to heavy use. If you caught the “Volume 2” video the other day, there’s a very strong possiblity that you became a big fan of Boyd Hilder. It just so happens that Boyd’s signature Mera One shoe from Verve Footwear just dropped as well! The Mera One has been a year in the works and it features an all new Vulcanized construction method to increase the strength, stiffness and overall life of the shoe. Over the years we have seen a lot of talent coming out of Australia and it seems like there’s always a new guy to keep on your radar. Over the past two or three years we have been taking notice of Colony‘s Jack Kelly who has been quickly becoming one of our favorite street riders from down under. The other week he had his latest Colony video drop online and it was banger after banger from the streets. We knew when we were watching it that it was beyond due time to get ahold of this guy to find out just what he’s all about! Verve Footwear Coming to the United States

Here’s some news we spotted over on Focalpoint that some of you guys might be stoked to hear! The Verve Footwear will be available here in the United States starting in July. Verve is a BMX shoe company that recently fired up down in Australia and they’re quickly picking up steam, so we’re stoked to see them getting over to U.S soil!

“We are very proud to officially announce that Verve Footwear Brand will be now distributed by Colony BMX Distribution in the United States of America as of July 2015. We are very excited to see what lays ahead for the brand with the help of Clint Millar and Keith Treanor over at Colony BMX Distribution. We have been hearing about the new show company out of Australia called Verve Footwear that has been in the works for a little while now. Well, today they dropped this new park mix edit featuring team riders, Boyd Hilder, Dylan White, Cody Pollard and Mickey Soole throwing down some great riding along with news that the shoes are shipping to dealers all over Australia and New Zealand now. Focalpoint – The Verve Footwear Interview

Focalpoint caught up with Mickey Soole, who is starting up Verve Footwear down in Australia. We haven’t seen a lot about the brand just yet, but it looks like they’re off to a real good start! Product: Verve Footwear 2014 Line

Here’s one we spotted over on Focalpoint we’re stoked on. There’s a new BMX footwear brand coming through with the name Verve Footwear. They’re based out of Australia and will be hitting shops down there in August. I’d imagine if these take off, we’ll be seeing this brand popping up here in the U.S, Canada and in Europe before long. Check the flipbook above for a look at their first model of shoe that will be available in white or gum on the sole along with hats, shirts and more.
