Dude Bird – Spotting

Whenever a new Dude Bird video pops in the inbox, we try to completely clear our mind of any preconceived idea of what we might just see. Needless to say, once again, they have managed to leave us thinking “What the hell are we watching?… Why can’t we stop watching?”. Check out some great riding from the Skatepark of Tampa along with a lot of “what the hell are we watching” in this new BMX video.

“SPoT is our local park, so sometimes we end up with more footage from there then we really need. So this is how we will expel these spare clips. It’s not a 100% full on Dude Bird edit, just a little extra in between. See? The title actually makes even more sense when you look at it like that…”

It was announced that Brett Silva parted ways with Wethepeople the other week, and now today we found out what for! Brett Silva is now doing it for Sunday Bikes! Check out this DIALED BMX video to bring the news. Brett brings a lot of style to this one, that’s for sure.

“I’m super excited to welcome Brett Silva to Sunday!

It’s a big deal adding somebody to a team – you’ve got to travel with that person and hang around him constantly, ride with him, eat with him, share hotel room with him, sit in a van for hours on end…. it’s a serious commitment, and if you pick the wrong guy it can be a nightmare. The Sunday team gets along so well as-is, there’s a ton of pressure to keep the good vibes going.

When I started asking the Sunday riders what they thought about putting Brett on the team, every response I got was 100% positive. Of course it was – Brett is a ridiculously talented bike rider, and he’s got to be one of the easiest dudes to get along with ever. Super chill, super positive, and without a bad word to say about anybody. Really this was a no brainer.

I think we’re all looking forward to getting to chill with Brett over the coming months and years, and of course really looking forward to getting to watch him ride. This is gonna be awesome.
