Subrosa – Street Rail Test
There has been some speculation to what kind of abuse the Street Rail from Subrosa can take, so they decided to give it a real test and show you guys how it held up. Take a peek! The Street Rail is available everywhere Subrosa is sold now!
“As with any product Subrosa makes, we have to test it to find it’s limitations. When Sparkys Disaster Squad member Matt Perkins said he wanted to drop onto the Subrosa Street Rail from the top of the wedge I knew it would be one of those tests.
While the rail wasn’t intended to be used like this, we wanted to show our fans, and people interested in the Subrosa Street Rail that when we say “Built BMX Tough” we mean it.
The Subrosa Street Rail has an inner sleeve and a proprietary reinforcement bar to keep the center junction strong, while at the same time, being super easy to take apart to transport the rail.
You’ll also notice how the rubber feet keep the rail in place even with the force he’s hitting the rail with.

Island Woods
Riding trails has more of a risk than just the possibility of getting hurt riding them. Unless you own the land they’re built on, you’re constantly under the pressure and fear that somebody is going to turn turn up and destroy all of the hard work put into them. The crew at Island Woods got their notice that after two long years, they would have to say goodbye to their home. They wanted to put together something they could remember the place with, so they produced this video giving you some insight into their spot in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada! We also were fortunate enough to get a handful of photos shot by Kjel Erickson that you can check out after the jump! Check it!
“Last week we got very disheartening news that our trail spot was getting demolished. We have been working on these jumps for the last two years and finally got them somewhat running. The clips in this video are from our few sessions over the last couple of months.
To anyone who understands how much work goes into a spot like this will understand how disappointing it is when you get news like this. It amazes me how in countries like Canada it is so hard to persue the sport we are all so passionate about. Everyone claims to be so open minded and says it’s great when you go chase your passions. Sure doesn’t feel that way when multiple spots have gotten plowed and everywhere you go we get kicked out of spots and even parks.
Even with shit news like this we will keep trying to open minds and grow the scene here in Lethbridge. Hopefully one day the city will let us have a spot to build and ride. Keep on givenr’
Enjoy the video because it’s the last you’ll see from this amazing spot.
Riders : Scott, Garth, Vince” Edward Dyck

Jason Lopez on Radio Bikes

The Radio Bikes team is getting pumped up for 2015 and things are looking real good. They have added Jason Lopez to their U.S team so expect good things coming from that!
“We are proud to announce that Jason Lopez it the latest addition to the Radio Bikes US Team!
Currently living in the Bay Area, California, Jason and has such a unique and diverse style that made him the perfect fit for the Radio team.
Jason straight up murders it, wether he’s shredding a skatepark or sending some serious bangers on street, we couldn’t be more stoked to have Jason part of the family and can’t wait to see him kill it this year along side the rest of the team.
Jason has built up a new 2015 Chrome Toren setup and has just started filming for his welcome to the team edit. Look out for a bike check and the full edit from Jason soon…”
