Texas Toast 2014 – Highest Hop Contest

Broc Raiford has been holding the highest bunnyhop title for quite some time now… It looks like this year he had a bit of a challenge for himself at Texas Toast this year! Take a look and see how it all unfolded! … That’s a lottttta pop.

“The High Hop contest at Texas Toast this year was rediculous. From Kyle Hart sending fastplants over it, to Broc Raiford winning with no seat, let alone the fact that the whole bar was almost to small! Both Broc and Brett Silva cleared the 48 inch slot, so the bar was then rested on top of the whole structure in one last attempt to push the limits… I still think Broc could’ve cleared more.” – Ride BMX

BMX Lagos de Moreno

Although it seemed like everyone in BMX was at the Texas Toast Jam this past weekend, there were still other rad events going on! One in particular was the BMX Lagos de Moreno contest down in Mexico where a handful of familiar faces were throwing down some heavy moves on a crazy dirt / ramp setup! Check out this dialed video Dylan Pfohl put together from the contest for you to see!

“BMX riders from all over the world traveled to Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico for a dirt jumping contest unlike any other. Nick Bruce took the win and best trick in front of Logan Martin in second and Declan Brooks in 3rd. Also starring Aj Anaya, Tyler Halvorsen, Danny Josa, Hector Garcia, JB Peytavit, Daniel Dhers, Santiago Munoz, Joel Bondu, Andres Pardo, Timothe Bringer and Luis Medina.”

October Shred at Cottage Grove Bike Park

Remember a few months back where Bell Helmets held that contest to split $100,000 between 3 different places here in the U.S? The Cottage Grove Bike Park was one of them, and we just saw this video from a jam that went down there over the weekend. Although there isn’t much for tricks, this place looks amazing. I did spot a few Landon Anderson clips which kicks a ton of ass.

“It was good to see so many riders of all ability levels tearing up Cottage Grove Bike Park last weekend for OktoberSHRED, a last minute Jam event put on by Chance and company.

The new jump lines are all built up and worked in and a ton of good riding was going down on all 3 of the lines. People were also sessioning the 4x and pump tracks all day as well.

The new jumps were built by FlowRide Concepts and local volunteers from MORC as part of the Bell Built Grant from IMBA.

Olivier Croft 2014 Edit

Olivier Croft coming through with a dialed new edit of him putting his pegs to heavy use on a ton of rails and sending himself down some big drops. Definitely a ton of gold in this one. Take a peek!

“There it is, the 1st street video of Olivier Croft.
He is 18 years old, riding bmx since 2010. This video was filmed in about three months because he had a nose surgery so we lost around 2 and a half months. We have surely both improved a lot from riding and filming together. I’m stoked to be releasing this video of him doing crazy drops and some technical rails
