There’s just something about the Woodyard that I can’t get enough of… Just spotted this video over on Can You Dig It of Blaine Mazzetti getting some laps in at the trails with his GoPro strapped to his head!
Minato Sato – 8 Year Old Double Decade
Here’s one we spotted on Flat Matters giving us clear proof that the future of flatland is looking bright. Young Minato Sato throwing a double decade clean at the age of 8! Amazing.
Honey BMX – Timmo Haapalainen 2014 Video
Always good seeing a filmer get some time in front of the lens! We’ve seen a ton of videos from Timmo Haapalainen for Honey BMX the past few years, but this is the first full edit from him we’ve seen in quite a while. Check out Timmo putting together some real solid riding on street spots over in Finland!
“Timmo is one of my long time friends and i was more than stoked when he asked me to do a edit for him last spring.
We started this project early spring and finished on September so its like 4 months of cruising streets and filming this 30years old man.
Timmo is a bmx filmer / editor too and our ways to think about a bmx edit are very different so there was a couple times that i just wanted to punch him into face and say that this aint like filming a fucking Titanic (I actually said that later) but we definitely had the best time filming for this and i would definitely do it again.

Dew Tour Brooklyn – Street Highlights
Did you miss the live feed from the street contest at the Dew Tour in Brooklyn yesterday? Well, it’s all good because you can check out all the highlights and see just who took home the win in this video! Sean Ricany, Broc Raiford, Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Garrett Reynolds and more!
“Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Garrett Reynolds and the rest of the BMX Street field took to the Dew Tour course at House of Vans, and things got crazy. Check out the footage from the contest here.”
Dew Tour Brooklyn – Street Style Practice
Dew Tour Brookyln Street Style is about to go down (12PM East / 11AM Central) in a few minutes, so take a look at this preview that Ride dropped from practice, then hit this link to watch it live! This is going to be a good one for sure!
“The street style event at Brooklyn Dew Tour offered much less of an actual hill than previous venues… But don’t think that stopped dudes like Tyler Fernengel, Brian Kachinsky, Van Homan, Dennis Enarson, and the rest of the guys from going fast and high down the 3 blocks of intimidating terrain.” – Ride BMX
Gabe Truax – Hassles
Gabe Truax coming hot with rail and ledge destruction in his latest edit filled with grinds, freecoasters and nose balance. Take a look because this one doesn’t disappoint!
Cult – “Small Talk” Josh Alderete
Keeping the party going! Josh Alderete’s section from the Cult “Small Talk” DVD is now online! Josh has been killing it for a long time, but I think this section will really open up some eyes to just how good he is! Check out some amazing pegless freecoaster lines that he cooked up for this one!
“We’re psyched to be rolling out the sections from Cult’s most recent DVD, Small Talk, that ever-so-greatly moved the spotlight from their pro squad to the ams. Something relatively fresh in BMX, focusing time and money and letting their up and comers is something that rarely happens, but building the team from the ground up is what Cult is all about, so we’re hyped to rename the best day of the week for the next month: Cult’s Small Talk Saturdays.” – Ride BMX
“The classification between amateur and professional in BMX has been discussed and debated, but never clearly defined. While the lines are still a little blurry, if we can agree that a professional includes a paycheck and a certain level of experience and skill, then we’re halfway there. So what is an am? Does BMX even need ams? Cult thinks so, and they helped set the precedent for an established am class in BMX with the release of Small Talk, their am-based video that gave Steven Mack, Josh Alderete, Iz Pulido, and Andrew Castaneda the center stage usually reserved for the pro riders.”
Josh Alderete
Hailing from Palm Desert, California, Josh is another one of the quiet shredders who is all about consistency and riding as smooth as possible. He’ll be the first to call himself out and just pedal back to the start and film the line again until he’s happy with it. Even if everyone else would have taken the first try, it’s all about Josh’s own standards.” – Cult
Dew Tour Brooklyn – Street Practice & Schedule
Well, the weekend is finally here and Dew Tour Brooklyn is about to kick off with practice here in a few minutes! But before that goes down, get a look at what went down in Practice yesterday to see just what’s coming! I have a feeling Garrett might be taking this one…
“Street Practice at Brooklyn Dew Tour today was pretty next level. progressive, yet consistent and casual was the name of the game. Even guys on the course were commenting about it being the craziest practice session they’ve ever ridden in. But really, what more would you expect when you take a handful the best street riders in the world and throw them onto an amazing course for one long and heated session. Ty Morrow, Bruno Hoffmann, Dakota Roche, Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kerley,Dan Lacey, Dennis Enarson, Mike Gray, and Broc Raiford are absolute masters of their domain.” – Ride BMX
