Urban Playgrounds
Is it just me or does London have some amazing playgrounds to ride!? Check out Issac Lesser, Dan Boiski, Danny Stanzl, Joe Embrey and Lew Anderson all putting some of these wild playgrounds to good use in this new video from Ride UK!
“Every now and then a web edit will pop up with the odd clip of someone riding in a playground, with good reason. There are so many spots where a slide has been built on top of a banked area, where springy animal-shaped seats are placed onto nicely transitioned mounds or where zip line platforms create driveways and hips. And then there are the random landscaped areas surrounding the playground obstacles, those redundant bumps and banks that are seemingly pointless to most kids but lots of fun for us – the big kids on BMX bikes.
I decided to search out some of the best transitioned playgrounds around London then invite a few chosen riders to interpret them. Some weren’t as good as I thought, some were a bust, some stayed wet and dewy or even mossy for months, some had other issues, but many of them worked out quite well. When we got a session going it felt good – after all, we were simply having fun in a playground.” _ Ride UK
I Got $5 On It – Collin Post
This weeks I Got $5 On It is here and ready for you to enjoy! Check out Collin Post putting his pegs to good use on a rad spot. This is definitely for the guys who are into jibby technical stuff! Take a look!
“For this weeks I Got 5 On It we have Denver transplant Collin Post doing our first street 5. He shred at the famous East High “E”, its an mellow up down bank with a huge E in the middle. He kills it to say the least and was a great time out filming with him. Between his general personality and skills made it for awesome time before the cops and the frigid cold tried to shut us down but not before Collin got his $5!

Eclat – Kolibri Hubs Promo
Take a closer look at the Kolibri hubs from Eclat in this new video they dropped today. After you check that out, get more info about each hub below!
“Kolibri Rear Cassette Hub:
The Kolibri cassette hub is all about simplicity. The hub shell is clean and simple that keeps the cnc machining time down and therefore the price. The flanges are nice and low and match better to the front hubs, so from the side view the bike has a nicely equal balance in the proportions. Sticking with a regular 14mm hollow axle helps keep the weight down, and a simple cassette system with a full bushing driver continues the ‘simple’ theme inside the hub too. So if you’re looking for a straight forward, clean and simple low flange cassette hub, here it is.
Kolibri Front Hub:
The Kolibri front hub is a clean, light and elegant piece of rolling technology. It features a simle low flange design made possible by using a smaller diameter bearings, 2 on each side to ensure it rolls as good as it looks. A straight forward 10mm regular axle making it incredibly light and great for rolling on and on and on…and on.“
