If you haven’t bought a copy of Markit “Zero” or even seen the video, you are absolutely BLOWING IT! Hands down one of the BEST BMX videos I’ve ever seen. Things just got a whole lot easier for you because now the video is downloadable on iTUNES! Watch the quick trailer above and then go pick up a copy. I don’t care how you do it, just do it! Dennis Enarson, Ronnie Napolitan, Mike Jonas, Connor Lodes, Geoff Slattery, Christian Rigal, Chad Kerley and Rob Wise all come through with some banger parts.
Steven Hamilton – Brakeless
Here’s not one, but TWO new videos from Steven Hamilton that I spotted over on the Animal website. Turns out, Steven decided to build up a second bike that is brakeless and see what he could come up with. Steven pulled out the camera and self-filmed this dialed video above that is loaded with some classic Hamilton style. Below is a more skate oriented edit that has a mix of footage from different trips he has taken over the last year or so as well with brakes. Both videos are damn good and well worth a watch! Enjoy!
MarieJade – Fall / Winter 2013 Lookbook
Although it’s easy to forget that MarieJade is a clothing brand from all their killer videos they put out, they are always producing something fresh to try on. Above is their new promo video giving you a look at their Fall and Winter 2013 line which has new shirts, sweatshirts, hats, backpacks and more. Take a peek! This video also features, what I’m assuming is Alex Valentino’s sister, Manon Valentino. I’m sure plenty of you will like that too.
Kaine Mitchell – Cut Short
Always good to see a new up and coming face that is an absolute shredder. Young Kaine Mitchell has himself a big bag of tricks for you to check out in this new edit. Not sure how long he will be out with this broken toe, but I’m sure it won’t be long before we see more footage of him surface!
“Big K, aged 15 going for it!
Filmed over 1 session at Adrenaline Alley, then Kaine broke his toe (first clip!).

Dawn of the Shred – Zombie Vs. Werewolf

In a sea of web videos that tend to all have the same general direction, it’s good to see something different from time to time. Joey Gough hit us up with a link to Dawn of the Shred which is definitely “something different”. Head over to the site to see their BMX themed Zombie Vs. Werewolf video where you actually interact with the video and choose which scenario plays out. Pretty rad concept if I may say!
Max Bespaliy A.K.A Plazas Killer
If you are a plaza, Max Bespaliy wants to get to know you, and put some sweet, sweet moves on you. Check out this brand new video of him getting some time in at his local plaza where he comes through with a ton of real good clips for you to enjoy! Check it!
Boneyard: Scott Ditchburn
Here’s a wild new one featuring Scott Ditchburn getting down at the Boneyard Skatepark! Scott gets plenty of use out of his pegs and even spends some time roasting. Take a look!

James Colella and Kings Rideshop

All photos by Patrick Martinez
If there’s one thing that has been really good for BMX, it has been the shops that fully support BMX 100%. One of those shops would be Kings Rideshop out in California. This BMX only shop has been going strong for nearly a decade, and in that time it has grown and developed a scene that is really important to help keep this lifestyle of ours going strong.
Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of cool things come from Kings Rideshop and figured it would be a good time to catch up with the owner, James Collela, to find out a little bit about him and what the shop is all about! Let’s get into this to see what he had to say!
