Tasos Kosmatopoulos sent through a video he put together from the Bogiatiland contest that went down back in October. It looks like it was a real good turn out and plenty of solid riding went down. Take a peek.

Here’s another video from the Brett Banasiewicz Benefit Jam that went down the other weekend. This time it’s the official edit from TCU. Definitely a good watch.
“On December 30th 2012, The Come Up BMX & DC Shoes teamed up to do a jam to benefit our good friend and fallen soldier, Brett Banasiewicz who sustained a serious head injury in September 2012. We raised over $5000 for Brett and his family and some amazing riding took place. Enjoy the video!

Effraim over at Flat-Matters tipped me off to this promo for the Battle Vibes contest coming up. It features Sam Foakes laying down some wild flatland links as preparation for the event. If you’re looking for some flatland goodness, this is what you’re going to want to check out.
Oh hell yeah. DIG had Peter Adam dig into his old files and put together this video featuring footage of Steven Hamilton from a trip they took to San Francisco back in 2004. This should be an indicator as to why people still go wild over this dude today.
“Following on from our full interview in the recent DIG 92 with one of BMX’s most progressive and controversial riders, we look back at a classic period in Steven Hamilton’s life when he got his first DIG interview, his crazy section in Federal’s ‘Trafelio’ was released, and the world really took notice of just how good this guy was.
You may recognise some of these clips from ‘Trafelio’ and the Tip Plus video, but Peter Adam wanted to share a flavour of what else was going on during their week long stay in San Francisco.

Volume Bikes have added Victor Galindo to their line up. Check out this dialed welcome edit above along with a little write up as to why below. This dude knows a thing or two about style for sure.
“We’d like to proudly introduce this young whipper snapper to the team in style….but before we get started I feel like you should know a few things about little Victor since he’s most likely a new face to you. Victor hails from Nipomo (nohomo) California where it smells like poop all the time. He is the protege to Alex Raban’s positive mentoring skills and together they spend their days riding the Nipomo equivalent of FBM ghetto street comp AKA “The Rec.” He in turn has dialed in his peg skills along with ridiculous tricks like decades off a tiny little pallet box jump. Victor also may or may not be involved in a very lucrative energy drink pyramid scheme which he claims will have him whippin a Benz on 24’s at some point this year. Now that you know Alex Raban’s little brother better, give this edit a watch or 10…..get it? ….like a decade, man. Featuring footy from Victor’s home turf in the central California coast, along with some Arizona footy in the mix.

I’ve always wondered if there would ever be a day where a filmer would get sponsored. I know there’s guys who have obviously landed jobs as being a team filmer, I mean look at Will Stroud, Chris Long and Mike Mastroni… But I’ve never heard of somebody being a sponsored filmer. The Crux Division have added Jacob Hope to their line up strictly for being a filmer. If you have seen any of his TX Life edits, you would know he’s been putting in a ton of work lately and this opportunity will definitely help him progress even more. Check out the full press release below. Stoked for you, Jacob.
“Since day one of starting Crux Division everything I envisioned for it was on a very minimal scale, I had no expectations of it being as popular as it is now especially in the short year Crux has been around. This natural progression is very exciting and motivating to explore what more we could possibly do which has brought us here. In this very serious and formal announcement please welcome our first videographer selectee Jacob Hope.
Since first meeting Jacob he had made it pretty evident that his main focus is filming and editing. Like a young eager BMX’er striving to ride like Garrett Reynolds, that same mentality applies to Jacob but he’s looking at guys like Navazio and Ennis for inspiration. Jacob wants to create good videos and is always finding ways to better himself. Hopefully we can help him refine his skills, discover new ones, and gain experience in creating a solid work ethic that will benefit him later down the road.
Jacob lives pretty close to a few of the riders and will be hooking up with them to film. Most riders will utilize Jacob by sending in footage for him to edit which will hopefully bring everyone a little closer and help with the family feel of Crux Division.
Check out Jacob’s Vimeo Page (Vimeo.com/BMXhope) to see the awesome work he has done with his scene and look below of his latest edit of the Sidewall Distro warehouse party from recent that features Crux riders Adam Lee, Matt Hildebrand and Daniel Reyes.
Excited to see some projects surface from this in the near future.“
Woozy BMX put together this compilation video of some of Stefan Lantschner’s best footage from 2011 and 2012. Needless to say, this video turned out amazing and you’re going to want to check this out if you’re a fan of style.
