Sponge & Brant Moore – Four To Go
It’s been a while since we got a split edit from Brant Moore and Sponge that wasn’t a vlog style video. Here’s a look at both of these guys, along with a few others, having some fun at the Race Street Riders park out in Ohio. Although Sponge ended up with a broken ankle, it looks like both of these guys stacked a bunch of clips during other sessions to make for a full edit! As always, these guys deliver with a good mix of tricks with creativity and originality making things interesting from start to finish. Take a look!
“Sponge & myself in our first split edit in 6 years at Ohio’s newest indoor skatepark, Race Street Riders Company in Dover Ohio!
Also featuring Kyle Stein, Josten Burdette, Jt Harper, and Ryan Long.
Sponge broke his ankle filming for this and had to have surgery but is currently on the mend but already walking again! Really psyched to get this out there and we will have another video once he’s riding. Hope you enjoy!” – Brant Moore

Sneak Peek: Alienation – Venus Hub
Get a look at the new Alienation Venus Hub.
Here’s a sneak peek at a new hub that Alienation has been working on called the Venus Hub. This hub utilizes the Planetary internals that we’ve been seeing popping up in multiple hubs lately that runs forward like a cassette and like a freecoaster when going backwards without having to engage or disengage it. In the video, Brant Moore mentions the internals have a few tweaks to it from the other hubs, but didn’t open it up to see what’s going on. The shell features a hexagon shape, which reminded us of the Stress Disco hubs that have a similar look, with machined A, L and N letters on it. We didn’t catch the release date or price, but we would imagine it’ll be available soon, if not already if Brant is able to show it off. It is listed on the Alienation website , but we didn’t find any dealers listing it online just yet. It will be available in Black and Polished colors.
“The Alienation Venus is the newest planetary BMX hub!
I am honored to have been able to help with this hub and even named it!
I have an entire playlist devoted to videos testing the original Free Night Planetary freecoaster as well as comparing it to other freecoasters.” – Brant Moore

How To Remove Anodizing and Polish an Aluminum Hub
Want to learn how to remove anodizing and polish an aluminum hub or really any BMX part that’s aluminum?
Brant Moore is constantly putting out videos and this new one might just be for a few people thinking about changing up the colors of their bike. If you have an anodized part or parts that you aren’t really feeling the color anymore, and would be into doing the always classic polished look, this video would be for you. Brant shows you how he stripped the black anodizing off his front hub, and the process it took to get it shiny and looking really good. It took a good amount of work, but this video will likely show you any mistakes that could slow you down, and really help you streamline the process. So, if you want to go from colored to polished, this is for you!
“From anodized black to polished aluminum in just 6 hours! haha
Learning how to remove anodizing and then how to polish aluminum all in one day on a part that will go on my new bmx bike was so rewarding in the end! Seeing the finished product was just awesome.

If you intend on removing anodizing, I would do some research into a different or better method that could be a bit faster than the 2-3 hours it took with draino drain cleaner.’
But as far as polishing goes, mothers mag and aluminum polish with a microfiber rag are the way to go! They brought a mirror finish to the aluminum and using a drill to spin the hub made light work of it.
Hope you enjoy this one! From the actual process itself to editing the video, I am proud of all of it!!”
