Chris Doyle – Feeble Talk

Chris Doyle sits down for the latest round of Feeble Talk…

It’s been a while since Ride BMX has done one of these Feeble Talk interviews, but they’ve decided to bring it back and kick it back off with the one and only Chris Doyle. This one is a wild one since Chris talks in-depth about going into Cardiac Arrest and almost dying, which gave everyone in BMX a scare. After that, he talks about a handful of other tops from favorite riders to the X Games and a bunch of questions from the Kink team! This is a real good listen and watch, so check it out! So stoked on this.

“Well, that “short break” we took was a bit excessive, eh?

It’s nice to have Feeble Talk back and we wanted to do something a bit special by inviting Chris Doyle. Plainly put, Chris is an amazing dude to have on the show in general, but his recent and ultra-scary brush with death makes having him in the studio extra special. When I approached Chris about flying in to film the show, he requested that Calvin Kosovich join him, as he played a key role in Chris being with us today.

This episode of Feeble Talk is obviously a heavy one, but I didn’t want to solely focus on Chris’ recent “incident.” After a few tears were shed, we moved onto the more typical stuff…

Thanks again to both Chris and Calvin for making the trek out and being so forthcoming about what went down on that faithful day in Albuquerque.

Drop The Pin – Ty Morrow & Calvin Kosovich

Ty Morrow and Calvin Kosovich do some work on a random spot they picked on their map app…

The crew at Ride BMX recruited Ty Morrow and Calvin Kosovich to drop a random pin on the map and then cruise the spots that the area has to offer. Although Ty originally landed on a police station, it looks like they had come across a few gems while cruising the area. Take a look at what they got into!

“After a quick warm up session at a park in the South Bay area of LA, Ty Morrow and Calvin Kosovich filmed some clips at a spot across the street and then proceeded to Drop The Pin. Once we had our pin we jumped in our cars and headed to the destination without ever checking to see where it was exactly. The pin landed us in a rather prominent area for riding in Redondo Beach, but that didn’t deter Ty and Calvin from clipping up. And the exact pin location turned out to be pretty ridiculous, too…

The other week we got a look at the Garrett Reynolds “Fiending In Sydney” video from Red Bull that turned out amazing. The video featured Garrett and Lewis Mills with filmers, Tony Ennis and Calvin Kosovich behind the lens as they cruised spots around the city. The end result was a wild video, but there was a lot that went into it behind the scenes, so Red Bull put together this video that gives us a good look at what went into everything from the riding to what they got into off their bikes as well.
