A Month In The Life Of Colony BMX (2007)

The gems from Prody productions continue to flow! Here’s a look at what the original Colony team got into during a month long team trip in Australia and New Zealand. This video is just under 40 minutes of dialed riding and fun from a bunch of names we don’t see enough of or at all these days! After that, check out the bonus section from the DVD below!

Join the Colony team on a month long journey while hitting up a few comps along the way. They travelled in Australia from Brisbane down to Sydney. Then over to New Zealand’s South Island & finishing up in Wellington New Zealand. Just basically living the BMX lifestyle… riding, chilling & having a good time.

Riders include; Ryan Guettler, Dave Freimuth, Pete Radivo, Kenny Raggett, Nick Richardson, Haimona Ngata, Clint Millar with special guest Dave Osato.

Colony BMX – Tamworth Road Trip

Some of the Colony BMX team recently loaded up for a road trip to Tamworth where they hit up a bunch of parks and some backyard ramps along the way! Here’s a look at what the crew got into. As expected, dialed riding and clean film work! You won’t want to miss this one.

“Chris James, Paterico Fallico, Jayden Fuller, Clint Millar and Glen Mclaughlin headed down to Tamworth from Brisbane hitting some fun parks along the way.

This was a super fun 3 day mission that has us all looking forward to more trips on the road soon!

Colony BMX – Nick Watts Welcome Video

Colony have added flatland legend Nick Watts to their team! Here’s a welcome edit packed with dialed flatland riding from his backyard to bring the news! Nick’s been in the game for a long time, and it looks like he’s still continuing to progress and have a ton of fun on his bike. This is rad. Take a look!

“Ever since the early ‘90’s I’ve been in awe of the riding from Nick Watts.

His take on flatland has always been so amazing and unique. Fast forward 30 years later and that riding is even more unique.

I’m so stoked to announce that Nick has officially joined the Colony family. If anyone follows Nick on Instagram @nickwattsbmx you will know what I’m talking about. His style is so refreshing and a great mix of old and new riding.

I’m really looking forward to the years ahead with Nick on a Colony. I know Nick was so stoked receiving his first ever sponsorship package in all his riding years. Seeing him like a kid at BMXmas was golden. Cheers for the good times ahead Nick!… Clint Millar.

Colony‘s Paterico Fallico has a fresh batch of footage from a bunch of park, backyard ramp and street sessions he has been getting in around Brisebane lately! As always, Paterico delivers with a super good mix of tricks from ridiculous brakeless technical lip trick combos, nose balance, spins, whips and much, much more. You gotta check this one out!

Colony put together a fresh raw cut with just over 9 minutes of footage filmed while working on Jai Lakeman‘s latest video that came out the other week. “Jai Lakeman’s recent Colony video sure was stacked with some heavy moves, this video shows how hard he had to work for a lot of those clips. Some rough crashes in this but Jai made it all worth it!

How To Edit A BMX Video With Cooper Brownlee

Are you just getting into filming and aren’t really sure where to start with editing? Well, Cooper Brownlee is here to help you out! Cooper has been producing BMX videos for years through Colony, Focalpoint and more! In this video, Cooper breaks down the full process he uses from organizing the footage, planning out the video, the editing process, tips and tricks for editing, exporting the video and uploading it for the world to see. This process has evolved a TON over the years, and keeps getting easier, and easier to get amazing results, but there’s still a lot of work involved. This is a dialed video that can be applied to more than BMX, so if you’re interested in editing videos, check this out!
