Common Crew – Edventures: UK, France & NYC BMX Street

April 28, 2020

The Common Crew is still alive. Here’s a fresh Edventures upload they dropped giving us a look at what Eddie Cuellar has been getting into for nearly a year, bouncing around the U.K, France and New York for different events and a ton of sessions. This is a mix of riding with plenty of laughs and good times on top of it. Hit play and take a look!

“Been a year since I’ve uploaded a Edventures episode. But better late than never. Here’s episode #11. This one got all sorts of shit from getting drunk and watching crazy shit go down at 2019 battle of Hastings to flying over to Lyon, France for Bro’s Bike Store street staying jam. Then taking a train over to Paris to ride with the mayor of Paris aka our boy P.J martini. And to end it off with a small recap of Austin Augies annual Don of the Streets jam in New York.
Oh yea and look out for my new mixtape video I’ve been filming the last couple months called “SUMN LITE” out soon. but for now enjoy this video.

Common Crew – Edventures – Simple Session to BCN

March 28, 2019

The Common Crew dropped the latest installment of Edventures giving us a look at what Eddie Cuellar got into during his time in Estonia for Simple Session and Barcelona, Spain! As always, Eddie delivers with riding footage and plenty of no riding footage that’ll leave you laughing. Take a look!

“We’re back with another Ed update. This time the crew travels to Estonia for Simple Session where Denim gets an astonishing 47th place and Augie single handedly loses the traditional Skater VS BMX hockey game. From there we fly to Barcelona where even more people show up for a three week filming/partying extravaganza. Ed captured some antics and Sauce filmed a solid crew video that will be dropping on the channel soon!

Featuring: Eddie Cuellar, Denim Cox, Austin Augie, Justin Spriet, Anthony Panza, Billy Perry, Tony Hawk, Mini Lasgoity, Lewis Mills, Johnny Raekes, Reed Stark, Mark Burnett, Jespfur, Chris Eiland, Julian Arteaga, Jaume Sintes, Mauro Valencia, Trevor Sigloch, Jared Duncan, Emed, David Pendleton and Sauce.

Alec Siemon “Monster Mash” Section

May 19, 2018

The Common Crew have uploaded Alec Siemon’s section from the “Monster Mash” DVD!

The other day the Common Crew tried to upload Alec Siemon‘s section from their “Monster Mash” DVD, but the music blocked it. So, today, they’ve uploaded the section without the music. Although it’s a bummer, at least you can still see the incredible riding from Alec. Hit play and check it out! If you’re on desktop, you could try and double up the videos playing with the song below and kind of have it match if you can’t deal with the silence.

“Unfortunately Alec’s song is blocked worldwide on YouTube, we tried everything imaginable to get it by YT’s copyright policy but nothing worked. If you want the full effect as seen in the DVD and insist on watching it on YouTube the song is “I Ran” by A Flock Of Seagulls and it starts at 1:00 when he lands the switch whip down the 11 stair.

Alec (nose whip kid as we referred to him back then) was a late recruit to the squad and video alike, joining sometime in 2014 shortly after we met him. The original plan was for him and Francis to work on a web edit but everyone took such a liking to him that we quickly tossed that out the window and asked if he wanted to work on a full section for the DVD. He got a late start but you would never guess it, coming through with one of the most ridiculous, progressive video parts in recent memory and picking up sponsors Sunday and OSS in the process. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow for the credits!

Song that was supposed to be with the riding if you want to try and match it up, haha..

Denim Cox “Monster Mash” Section

May 18, 2018

Denim Cox brings the heat for this “Monster Mash” section!

The Common Crew have uploaded Denim Cox‘s section from their “Monster Mash” DVD online for your viewing pleasure. What’s crazy is that the Common Crew guys didn’t even know Denim when they started this project, and he ended up crushing it so hard over the past few years that he ended up with the ender section, and it’s easy to see why. Hit play and check out a ton of hammers from Denim!

“We met Denim about a year after we started filming for Monster Mash in 2012 when he moved to Huntington Beach from Tucson, AZ. After riding with him for a few months we knew he absolutely needed to be apart of the video and brought him on board. Denim had never even filmed an edit, let alone a DVD section but in our eyes it was pretty apparent he would probably end up with last part. He ran through about three sets of teeth, 1,800 tubes and a wrist or two filming for this but didn’t let it slow him down one bit and stacked almost seven minutes of footage. His clips are crazy but his process is crazier, with a motto like “don’t think just go” it’s easy to see how he ended up with a part this good and one of the best sponsors in the game, BSD. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow for the credits (or Alec’s part if we can get things worked out)!

May 16, 2018

The Common Crew have released Julian Arteaga’s “Monster Mash” DVD section online!

The Common Crew keeping the “Monster Mash” sections flowing. Today they’ve released Julian Arteaga‘s section that’s loaded with grind after grind of pure goodness. This one has a pretty chill vibe due to the music, but don’t let that fool you. This is a wild one from start to finish.

“Alec’s part was set to drop today but due to copyright issues with his song, we’re just going to have to upload these a little out of order. Hopefully we’ll have Alec’s up tomorrow..

Actual description: Back in 2011 when this all started Julian was a swag-less, barspinning, three peg riding young man trying to get through his freshman year of high school. It was during this video that he became the ambidextrous perfectionist that we know and love today. Somewhere along the way Sunday and Eclat took notice and added him to their teams. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow for Alec’s section that actually should’ve been posted today.

He stacked over six minutes of banging clips and picked up multiple sponsors during those years including Kink, Odyssey and Vans. Stay tuned for the gang section going live tomorrow! Enjoy.
