The madness of the “Holiday season” is starting to kick in. This past week brought on a few food comas due to Thanksgiving, people going ape shit over deals at Wal-Mart on Black Friday, and now we’ve got a full recap of all the best edits that dropped in the Daily Section that you might have missed due to everything going on. Strangely enough, we have ended up with 13 edits again. I’m starting to wonder what the hell is going on with that. But let’s take a peek already!
Wizard of Aus – Texas Toast Jam – Episode 13
Not going to lie, this is one of the better videos that has dropped from the Texas Toast Jam even after all that footage. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see Corey Bohan’s Wizard of Aus show either.
“In the season finale of Wizard of Aus, Corey Bohan heads to Austin, Texas for Taj Mihelich’s annual Texas Toast jam.
The Gauntlet of Death starts things off, followed by the dirt jumping contest- featuring Ryan Nyquist, Morgan Wade, Chase Hawk and Brian Foster to name just a few. Next, Corey joins the surprise premiere of Stew Johnson’s amazing “BF- it” documentary on the life and times of living legend, Brian Foster.
The Texas Toast street contest follows, featuring ridiculous riding from Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Gary Young and Corey Martinez. The Texas Toast jam served as the perfect wrap up to an amazing year of travel for Corey Bohan and the Wizard of Aus series.” – Red Bull
Corey Bohan, Anthony Napolitan, TJ Ellis & Brandon Dosch on BMX
Corey Bohan, Anthony Napolitan, TJ Ellis and Stephen Murray give their perspective of how strong dirt is in BMX. I couldn’t agree more with what these guys are saying.
“The deepest roots of BMX progression lie in the dirt. From the camaraderie among riders laboring together to build trails, to the amount of adrenaline that pulses through a rider once they are mid double looking down the rest of line, BMX dirt has always been regarded the proving ground for true professional BMX riders. We catch up with Corey Bohan, Anthony Napolitan, TJ Ellis, Brandon Dosch and Stephen Murray to talk about some major competitions, progression and the upcoming Dew Tour event in San Francisco. Hear from the pros about the state of BMX dirt as they take you Inside BMX” – Alli Sports
Wizard of AUs – NORA Cup Party 2012 – Episode 12
Here’s another round of Corey Bohan’s show, Wizard of Aus. This time around he spends some time in Las Vegas at the NORA Cup (Might be able to catch a glimpse of me about 1:18, haha) and checking out the ASA Triples contest along with riding some trails. Take a peek!
“Corey Bohan, heads to Las Vegas for the 2012 Number One Rider Awards party-
NORA Cup is voted by fellow pro riders, making this the most prestigious
award a BMX rider can get.
The big focus of the night was Brett Banasiewicz- to donate on Brett’s behalf, go to
http://athleterecoveryfund.com
After winning his 5th consecutive NORA Cup, Garrett Reynolds gives Corey some advice
on what he thinks the fellow 5 time NORA Cup winner should be focusing on.
Highlighted by the Venice Beach ASA Triples contest-
Corey talks about the state of BMX contests in 2012, the massive. amount of rider progression, and the lack of contest options for the riders.
Then it’s back to Riverside for a TV commercial with Corey’s new sponsor- Ion-
and an impromptu riding session with Anthony Napolitan, TJ Ellis, and Heath Pinter.” – Red Bull
Unit – Corey Bohan: Cali Trails Session
Unit Riders caught up with Corey Bohan for a night session at the trails. You already know there’s going to be some real good riding in this so hit play! Hell yeah.
Wizard of Aus – Night Riding and SoCal Park Hunting – Episode 11
The past 10 episodes have been awesome. Do I really need to tell you number 11 is just as good? Hit that play button.
“Corey Bohan rides under the lights at Heath Pinter’s backyard dirt masterpiece for an upcoming Unit Clothing ad. Joined by Dave Dillewaard and Heath Pinter, Corey gives a little tribute to some of his favorite riders of all time – Kris Bennett, Chris Doyle, TJ Lavin, and Brian Foster.
Then it’s off to ride a couple of Southern California skateparks, where Corey is joined by Ryan “Biz” Jordan, Anthony Napolitan, Dave Dillewaard, Drew Bezanson, and the “Prince of New Hampshire”- Brian Hunt.
Stay tuned for the next episode, which will feature the 2012 NORA Cup awards in Las Vegas.” – Red Bull
Wizard of Aus – US Open of Surfing to Brothers in Nicaragua – Episode 10
I’ve been to the U.S Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach and Corey doesn’t lie at all about what it’s all about. There’s so much jail bait there it’s not even funny! But, as always… Corey gets some riding time in and bounces around to new country for him. Living the dream.
“In this episode, Corey Bohan finds himself signing autographs with Anthony Napolitan at the US Open of Surf in Huntington Beach. After taking in the scene and surviving the sensory overload, Corey is whisked away on a last second journey to Nicaragua. There, he joins Eric and John Jackson of “Brothers on the Run”, with a special guest appearance by Travis Rice.
Surfing, riding, good times, and varmint wrangling ensue.” – Red Bull
Wizard of Aus: Road Trips and Big Tricks – Episode 9
As always, Corey comes through with another dialed episode!
“Corey Bohan heads to Woodward West in Stallion Springs, California for a day of camp, riding with Brian Hunt and making some new friends in the process.
After that, it’s off to Heath Pinters backyard for a quick sunset session before meeting up with Mike “Hucker” Clark, TJ Ellis, Paul Langlands and Corey Nastazio at Luke Parslow’s “It Is What It Is Jam”- a fundraiser for Stephen Murray in Riverside, California.
In the next episode, Corey is surrounded by the madness of the US Open of Surf in Huntington Beach, and then whisked away to Nicaragua for an impromptu surf mission with Travis Rice and the Brothers on the Run- Eric and John Jackson.” – Red Bull
