Vans AM Contest 2015

Check out highlights from this years Vans AM Contest that went down last weekend out in California! Based of the highlights, it looks like everyone from the young guns to the big dogs were throwing down some heavy moves. Germany’s Boyd Hilder came out on top and it’s easy to see why when you hit play on this BMX video! So many bangers went down!

“Vans and Cult hosted the annual Vans BMX AM contest at the Vans park in Orange, California this past Saturday. First places finishers in each class won a Cult complete along with lots of other cool stuff from Vans and Cult. And the winner of the Sponsored Class, Boyd Hilder, got an invite to compete at the Vans US Open BMX Van Doren Invitational in Huntington Beach. The level of riding and amount of consistency throughout the day was insane—there’s such a wealth of talented locals riders in the OC/LA area. And props to LA’s Thee Block, for bringing a van full of their local shredders down to the contest and keeping it fun and enthusiastic all day.” – Ride BMX

Cult – #Crewsin San Francisco

Cult released this rad iPhone video featuring Dakota Roche and Andrew Castaneda cruising few spots up in San Francisco during their visit for The Street Series! Check out some riding from Dak and Andrew along with Cult’s connects, Hayden Jackson, Mikey Tyra. Plenty of gold in this BMX video, that’s for sure! We’re just thinking there might be more footage from this trip coming since we did spot Veesh filming in a few of the videos from The Street Series: San Francisco…

Casual BMX – Joe Molina Summer Jam

Casual BMX released this new edit featuring a bunch of Joe Molina‘s clips that he has stacked over the course of the summer. As always, Joe comes through with a ton of technical grinds on all the spots he finds and gives plenty of love to the X-Up. Actually, this video has a ton of X-Up grinds and a few Rocket manual and grind combos that we were so stoked on. Definitely reminds us of Ratboy back in the day! Cult Adds System Cycle, Drops Animal & Greenhouse

Here’s a little bit of BMX news for your day. It looks like Cult have made some changes to their United States distribution list. Prior to this, they had Tip Plus on the west coast, Greenhouse in the Midwest and Animal Bikes on the East Coast. It looks like Cult have decided to change things up and part ways with Greenhouse and Animal Bikes to work with System Cycle in Ohio. So, if you’re a BMX shop in the United States looking to get Cult product, those are the guys to talk to now.

Cult – Diego “Mono” Navarro

Cult just released this brand new Diego “Mono” Navarro video that gives us a look at some of his amazing riding from the trails to the streets. This one starts out giving us a good idea just where he gets all of his style at, at the trails, then he proceeds to make his way to the streets where he puts some technical grinds, big gaps and his buttery smooth style to work. The filming on this one is pretty interesting because it looks like they filmed with an HD camera and a Hi8 camera making for some unique looking shots and drastic differences in quality. Either way, this is one hell of a BMX video that you won’t want to miss out on!
