Colony have released an updated version of Clint Millar’s original frame, the Prody, that was released 20 years ago! They have updated the frame from the original with current geometry, smaller drop outs, a Mid bottom bracket and integrated headset, but it still has the same look. Subrosa have a bunch of new product dropping now (or by March 20th worldwide)! Above is a look at Hoang Tran’s signature Villicus Prime II that saw a few changes for 2014! This 4130 chromoly frame has a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 8.75″ stand over height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height and a 13.5″ chain stay (centered in dropout) length! You can find a gusset on the down tube, double butted top and down tubes, an investment cast wishbone for the chain stay bridge and an investment cast bridge on the seat stay bridge, flat ended seat and chain stays at the drop out for better clearance for hub guards, laster cut 6mm thick drop outs with integrated chain stays, an integrated seat post clamp and removable brake mounts! This frame has top tube sizes of 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ with colors of black, copper flake and black cheetah and a weight of 4.8 lbs. (20.5″)

Their had been some rumors floating around of the future for DIG BMX Magazine lately, but it looks like they’ve finally announced their plan. It looks like founder and editor, Will Smyth, has taken back full-control of the magazine and handling publishing and distribution on his own once again. This is definitely good news for this magazine that’s about to release its 100th issue! Check out a few words below!
“Factory Media have today finalised an agreement to sell DigBMX to brand founder, editor and designer Will Smyth. The deal hands back the brand to the former owner, and includes both the magazine and the website digbmx.com.
Darryl Newton, Managing Director: ‘We’re pleased to able to pass DigBMX back to Will where it will flourish under his control. Factory has enjoyed association with such an iconic BMX media brand and the calibre of its team, and will continue to support it albeit as a passionate observer of its future plans. How this has been online for 4 months and we’re just seeing now is beyond me. Alex Mayol has been behind the lens for A LOT of dialed BMX videos over the past few years and needless to say his work has got him involved in a lot of different Red Bull and Vans projects outside of BMX as well.
