AM Spotlight – Dan Kruk

Dan Kruk is one of those riders who we personally have known for a number of years now and we’ve always been super impressed with how he rides and pushes himself. Dan is one of the more dialed and consistent riders we’ve seen and this spotlight that Ride BMX is more than well deserved. If you aren’t a fan of Dan just yet, you will be after you watch this! Hell yeah, Dan!

“Dan Kruk is a young Midwest cat with a wealth determination and raw skill on a BMX bike. He recently scored himself a spot on the WeThePeople squad, and consequently found himself in Long Beach, CA where we linked up put in some time filming. Dan had a rough trip, but still managed to pull through with some amazing clips. When a young-gun like Dan has the blessings of a dude like Brian Kachinsky, I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing more of him in the future. Get familiar with Dan Kruk.”

MPEG Crew – Finally Leakin’

Dan Kruk just released the MPEG Crew’s section from a video contest they spent some time filming for a little while back. They had one week to film with their iPhone and ended up with over 8 minutes of footage! Milwaukee has street spots for days, so this is no surprise that they were able to cook up a BMX video this long! Check it!

“This video is a result of a local video contest in Milwaukee, Wi. 3 teams of riders had one week to film/edit a video. The only catch was it needed to be completely filmed with an iPhone. Mpeg ended up taking 1st place but all the other teams edits were just as awesome. Enjoy!

Monster Street Series 2015 – Chicago – BMX Day

On Saturday, July 18th, BMX riders from around the world were celebrating BMX day. Monster Energy threw a massive 5 event day with Street Series jams going down cities all across the world. This year featured Street Series stops in Riga, Latvia, Glasgow, Scotland, Nagoya, Japan, Chicago, Illinois and San Francisco, California.

We’re very excited to present to you a video from the Monster Street Series stop in Chicago! Despite being incredibly hot with temps in the 90’s and thunderstorms lingering, there was a massive turn out of BMX riders from Chicago all the way to the U.K and Germany in attendance. This video features riding from Timmy Theus, Dan Kruk, Trent McDaniel, Joe Jarvis, Dylan Gold, Alex Duleba, Mike Stahl, Austin Auginbaugh, Julias Carrasquillo, Dylan McCauley, Mike Strong and Carlo Hoffmann! Big shout out to Dan Lacey for making the trip over to help everyone celebrate in Chicago!

This video is dedicated to Glenn Salyers who passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident the night before the Chicago Street Series. Had the accident not happened, there’s no doubt in our minds that Glenn would have been at this jam pulling off some of the most amazing riding throughout the day! Dan Kruk, along with a handful of the Milwaukee crew, recently spent a few weeks out in Barcelona, Spain exploring the city, riding spots and taking in the sights and culture. Dan ended up with a ton of dialed clips on his iPhone, so he tossed together this video for us to check out. There’s a few clips in this that will leave you saying “what the hell?” more than once.

Wethepeople – Dan Kruk X Dillon Lloyd in San Diego

Wethepeople‘s Dan Kruk and Dillon Lloyd were over freezing their asses off, so they headed south to San Diego for a few days of sunshine and spots! Both of these guys went to work and ended up stacking some real heavy clips despite a pretty short time frame to ride! Check it!

“ Dan Kruk is new to the AM squad and when we heard word he was going to be in Cali around the same time Dillon Lloyd was we thought about getting those two to film a 4 day trip to San Diego. Francis Castro behind the lens and these two knuckle heads meant only one good things could happen.
