Deco – Matt Coplon and the Fu Forks

Deco BMX – Pass the Seat

Deco coming through with a unique promo video for their new Terry Adams signature seat. The team decided to pass one of the seats around and all pull together a clip or two. Hit play and take a look at what went down. This is a rad mix of street, park and flatland, keeping things interesting from start to finish!

“The idea for Pass The Seat is pretty simple. Get a seat and install it, film a clip, send the seat or PASS THE SEAT. Started with Terry Adams since this is his new signature seat available now. Pivotal, all black, FAT version, hollow chromo bolt, super light foam. Mat Olson starts the party with a self filmed run and packs and stacks the tricks. Matt Coplon got a lil artsy with a loading dock line. Karl Poyter long mannie line and seat grab bar spin in the middle was dope. Mannie Nogueira fresh off the boat and at his local spot with a new one and his was excited. Scott Weaver magic knee on the seat in circles is unreal. Ryan Torrance has been on some wild flip kick so might as well add it to smith grind. Chad DeGroot going backwards hop style from front wheel to back wheel. Taylor Bonds backwards tech and tbog smoothness. Dontae Styles 360 roof to flat with screams of excitement. AND Terry Adams bangs it out with a new one we did not see coming… whiplash to seat mannie to signature whip. DAMN. 5:54 min. run time.“

Interbike 2016 – Deco

We bumped into Chad DeGroot at the QBMX booth where he had a few Deco items on display from the pedals to the stems, grips, seats and pegs. We have seen most of these items already, but figured it would be good to give you guys a quick refresh. One sneak peek that Chad did mention is that he’s doing a re-make of his old Mustache bars that he had from Primo years ago, with more modern geometry. We’ll be giving you guys a look at that soon since Chad didn’t have a sample on display. Take a peek!

Product: Deco BMX – Self Titled V2 Frame

The second version of the Deco “Self Titled” frame has arrived. This frame is made from 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube height, 11.87″ bottom bracket height, 8″ standover height and a 13.5″ (13″ slammed) chainstay length. The Self Titled V2 frame features gussets on the top and down tubes, a brazed on Deco logo on the top tube, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, grind plates on the chainstays, integrated chain tensioners through the dropouts and removable brake mounts.

The Self Titled V2 frame comes in ED black and raw with top tube sizes of 20″, 20.5″, 21″ and 21.50″, a weight of 5 lbs. (20.5″) and a price tag of $299.99. This frame is available through BMX shops, mail-orders and direct from the Deco web store now!

Deco BMX – Chad DeGroot Inside of a Penske Truck

We’ve seen Deco‘s Chad DeGroot ride in a lot of places over the years, but this is the first time we’ve seen him getting down in the back of a Penske truck. Hit play if you want to check out a little flatland action. The back story behind this one is also pretty interesting, so check that out below.

“My first GO FUND ME project to raise money to fix my local park called Candyland started in November of 2015. I had no idea what I was getting myself in to. But with the blessing of the city and tons of thumbs up it all started. Want to thank every person, every dollar, and all who helped in this project to make it awesome. Donations from this and in store at Mr. B’s plus fund raising from DecoBMX/Mr. B’s/ Billy Richardson and all of you has reached $2706.02 and thank you all. With materials, transportation, and some unforeseen costs total needed to be raised is $3900 so that puts us $1193.98 short. I had additional expenses flying up to State College to rent a Penske truck to trek it back to Longwood. …sorry for the delay but this is a process. Serious problems here and there but all handled. So once we dropped the obstacles off I still had the truck for a few more days. Offered it to a few people to use for moving or other, but no one took me up on this. Then it rained one day and the idea to ride inside it blossomed.
