Demolition just posted up a new print ad they did with German mail-order Parano Garage. This can be found in the new issue of BMX Rider.
To start your week off right, Ride BMX uploaded one of my personal favorite sections from The Hunt‘s “Gold Rush” video. Check out Volume and Demolition‘s Daniel “Lil’ D” Martinez absolutely killing it on the streets.

Well, well, well. Here we are again. Time to dig into a fresh round of Products:! This week we’ve got 5 fresh products that you’re going to want to take a closer look at. First up we’ll look at the new Combat bars from Demolition. Following that we’ll get you all the info on Mutiny‘s The Rune frame, Broc Raiford’s signature seat from Volume Bikes and Shawn McIntosh’s signature Mac pedals from Fit Bike Co.. Then we’ll wrap things up with Sunday‘s new Storm cassette hub! Ready? Let’s get into it!

Thinking it’s time for some new bars and you want something bigger? Check out Ronnie Napolitan’s signature Combat bars from Demolition that are out now. These 13-butted 4139 heat-treated chromoly bars have a rise of 8.8″, width of 29″, 11-degrees of backsweep, 1-degree of upsweep, a 6.4″ crossbar height and a 11.28″ crossbar width. These bars feature a thicker butted tubing in all the stress points to create an all around stronger design. The Combat bars weigh in at 32 oz. with flat black and chrome for the colors. Check out more photos here.
Now here’s a setup you can’t go wrong with! Alli Sports caught up with Chris Doyle to check out his current setup decked out with Kink, Demolition and DUO parts. Although the setup hasn’t changed much over the years, it’s stood the test of time because this is what I call a proper unit!
“Chris Doyle is aware of what is current as far as BMX trends when it comes to gear setup, but he is not a fan of changing with the masses. Doyle says it is important to ride a bike that is comfortable to you, so don’t be fooled what is hot at your local spot to ride. See how Chris Doyle puts together his BMX in this Setup.“

Here’s a look at Demolition‘s latest print ad featuring Mike “Hucker” Clark and their Revolt cranks! This can be found in issue 13 of The Albion.

When a BMX company has been around for fourteen years you have to figure that they are doing something right. That was my exact thought when planning the next company to feature for the column and that is why I chose Volume and Demolition. Also because Brian Castillo is a dedicated, hard-working person who constantly pushes BMX in a positive direction. He multi-tasks like no other and still finds time in his day to shred. He rides BMX simply because he loves it, and helped take a dream and make it a reality which is something most people will never do. It takes an incredible amount of drive to run multiple BMX companies for over a decade but he handles it with a small crew working alongside. I made my way down to the offices recently to hang out for the day, shoot some photos and talk to Castillo about what it takes to make it all happen.
Demolition‘s Connor Lodes has a busy schedule this month, so they caught up with him to find out what he’s taking with him during his time away. Not going to lie, I can’t imagine he got too far without that passport. Either way, this is what we call living the dream!
“What would you bring with you if you were hitting the road for a month? Want to know what Connor Lodes brings with him when as he takes off to Europe for the month of May? Click on the photo to view it bigger and see what Connor packs when he’s going over seas on an epic BMX adventure.
The one single thing that Connor happened to actually forget was his PASSPORT!! So what do you do when your two hours from home and have 3 hours till your international flight and have forgotten your passport at home? You start making calls to all your best friends and hope to god that someone has the day off work!! HUGE thanks to Connor’s friend GLEN for coming through in a pinch and hooking up Connor with his passport just moments before he had to get on the plane!
Also be sure to follow Connor’s updates from the road on his InstaGram @Connor_Lodes and for the occasional repost @DemolitionParts”
