Anthony Derosa – Low Profile

July 17, 2015

It’s pretty amazing how many completely under rated and amazing riders that you probably have never heard of. DIG caught up with Anthony Derosa for this new Low Profile giving you a look at how talented this guy really is. Watch as he sends some grinds on some huge set ups and unique spots. He’s definitely not scared to push things. Highly suggest you check out this BMX video!

““Anthony Derosa is 20, Goes to college full time half the year, and still finds time to ride and shred with all the homies while maintaining a high grade point average. For a young Bull, Dero really has his goals set up and knows what he wants to be doing. It’s a rare thing to see these days, someone who is talented, has a humble attitude about it all, and when it comes time to go Anthony is always ready to give it a 100%.” – Chris Marshall

“Garret Reynolds is from the same town I as I am, so it is a little challenging finding spots that haven’t been blown out; haha. With that being said, it does make it more fun trying to do new tricks on old spots. It’s motivating to me in a way. I’ve managed to pull off a few new ones for this edit!” – Anthony Derosa

ABQ DNV – Eat The Streets Denver Jam 2015

July 15, 2015

DIG released this fresh video from this years ABQ DNV Eat the Streets Jam in Denver, Colorado! Above you can see the highlight reel giving us a look at all of the spots these guys hit, the riding the went down, the multiple times they got kicked out of spots and all the good times that were had! All in all, this looks like one hell of a BMX Jam! If you’re digging this video, you can also check out a photogallery from the day right here!

“DIG is proud to present the first stop of ABQ DNV’s Eat The Streets 2015 jam series hosted in downtown Denver, Colorado. A great mix of locals and riders from far and wide, including Adrian Vigil, Lahsaan Kobza, Matt Closson, Kenjoe, and more converged on Mile-High City to kick things off.

“Eat The Streets is an pro-am series of street jams traveling from Denver down to Albuquerque, Phoenix, and SoCal with a cash purse and giveaways from our sponsors. This event came about based on the idea that it was time to put BMX back into our own hands, the riders. With corporate sponsors pulling out of BMX left and right, we felt the need to create something that is in our control, and on our terms. It’s raw, it’s street. This is our chance to give back to the sport we’ve grown to love so much with our friends and now family.

Denver was our kick off spot for the series and could not have been happier with the results. We had so many riders of all skill levels, young and old sending it all day. With Denver having such a rich history in BMX over the past few decades it only made sense to start here in downtown. With spots ranging from rails, banks and ledges we had everything covered we wanted to ride and then some! Being downtown comes the risk of getting kicked out at spots but with how large our group was every spot had to be reevaluated by the cops and security. We had no major issues with this because by the time they regrouped we were on to the next one.

These events are a labor of love. It would not matter if we had 10 or 100 kids there, we would move and push just the same for the love of BMX. Cheers to all those who showed up and rode as well a huge thank you to all our sponsors and supporters. See you all in Albuquerque for the next Eat The Streets jam on July 25th.” – Mario Carrasco / ABQ DNV

Dan Foley – A Day in Annapolis

July 13, 2015

Two videos from Dan Foley in one day? That’s what we’re talking about! Check out this fresh one featuring him and Alex Topper cruising street spots in Annapolis, Maryland. Everything about this from the riding the filming and editing is so on point. It’s not focused on the crazy, most difficult tricks or lines, but more of a simplistic day of cruising some chill spots. There’s some great lifestyle shots to go along with this that really give it a good summer vibe as well. Take it all in, because this is a dialed BMX video!

After you watch this, check out more footage of Dan Foley in the Lumia Pureviews – Pura Vida video!

“Dan Foley enjoys a summer day cruising with his old friend Alex Topper around Annapolis, Maryland. As Dan relays the familiarity of riding with good friends at old stomping grounds has a special charm to it that I think many of us can relate to. You don’t need the best of spots to have the best of times.

“My good friend Alex Topper and I grew up right outside Annapolis, Maryland. Once the capital of the US, currently the capital of Maryland, and home of the US Naval Academy, Annapolis is a quaint waterfront town with a certain charm I have yet to experience anywhere else. It lacks spots, but is easily one of my favorite places to cruise on a nice summer evening. On a recent trip to visit home, Alex had a day off work so we spent the day cruising around the town and shot this little edit.” – Dan Foley

In The Cut – United Tour De France

July 9, 2015

The United Bike Co. team recently loaded up and took a trip on over to France to spend a few days cruising spots and stacking clips! DIG just released this raw cut of footage featuring the crew going to work on spots. As you can imagine, with a crew like the United team, they had no trouble coming up with some amazing riding on the spots they did end up coming across. Hell, they even got Ian Morris to slide a big rail to get his heart racing. Hit that play button and take it all in! This is a BMX video that’s well worth watching from start to finish.

“Loading up a van with bikes and hitting the road with a (very) loose plan has been a staple in BMX since the beginning. For the latest United filming trip we did exactly that, driving from the South of England to the South of France with bossman Ian Morris, young guns Harry Mills-Wakley and Fernando Laczko… and picking up ‘The French Connexion’ of Alex Valentino, Tom Deville and Nico Terrez on the way and temporary Frenchman Corey Martinez. With kilometres covered, injuries sustained, new friends made, fields slept in and footage collected for their ongoing ‘Still United’ project, it had all the ups and downs of a classic BMX road trip. Le Bangers are being held back for the DVD, until then enjoy the rest of the footage collected over our week through France via our latest DIG ‘In The Cut’ video.

Dennis Enarson – Real Time

July 7, 2015

We have seen a handful of day in the life videos and they’re all pretty interesting, but some are pretty unrealistic to what a real day is like. Recently, DIG followed Dennis Enarson around for a full day and really got a look at what a single day was like. It wasn’t a “typical day”, just a day full of good times and BMX. Take a look and enjoy. This video gives you a clear understanding why Dennis rules!

“Mic’d up from sunup to sundown in San Diego ‘Realtime’ with Dennis Enarson is about as authentic as it gets with one of the best in BMX. DIG’s Fraser Byrne follows Dennis throughout his day, which includes a visit from his father Kenny, stop at the East County BMX 10th Anniversary Jam, brews at the ‘Wayne’s World’ beer perch, his thoughts on X Games, and more. Dennis (who topped our DIG 25 list back in 2013) is not only loved by us, but by fans, his sponsors Haro and Demolition, and the BMX community as a whole… and you’ll get a good idea why when you see how he carries himself throughout the day.”
