BRIAN_FOSTER_BMX_SETUPS_RD_8

Brian Foster week continues! This time around we get a fresh (well, sort of fresh) Bike Check with Brian giving us a look at his current Fit Bike Co. and Merritt setup! This bike has some scuffs and dings, but for the most part this bike has been rolling strong for the better part of two years which is quite impressive for a guy like BF. You can find out more about the bike, why he’s been running this bike for so long and more over on the DIG website.

Regardless of the scratches and dings, that’s one hell of a BMX bike right there!

BF-IT: Dreamline Crash Commentary

July 1, 2015

Ah, man… This one is a hell of a memory for me personally. During the first Dreamline contest, Brian Foster took a slam that left him with a torn ACL. The reason this is such a memory is because I was shooting photos at this contest and remember walking up to Brian after he fell to check if he was okay, and he calmly said “I tore my ACL” and I almost thought he was kidding because I imagined seeing this excruciating melt down filled with screaming and everything when that happens. Talk about a badass in that shitty situation. Sure enough though, Brian did have a torn ACL and ended up getting surgery after that contest. DIG dropped this funny slow-motion commentary from the crash where Brian talks us through his thoughts as he was going down. Take a look!

“As promised we’ve got the BF-it documentary extras to release online today as part of our #DIGBFWEEK, and first up is Brian’s horrible crash from Red Bull Dreamline back in 2011 (which resulted in knee surgery) but with a special BF commentary over the top explaining how things went in his mind, as only he could! Look out for a Cutting Room Floor video with some hilarious outtakes coming on digbmx.com soon.” – DIG

Felix Prangenberg – Youth of Today

June 23, 2015

If you aren’t already a huge fan of Felix Prangenberg, then there is a good chance this video will change that. Watch as he goes and crushes street spot after street spot over in Germany in this new video for DIG! Felix is a phenomenal rider and this video is proof of that. You can also learn more about him by checking out his new interview right here!

“This does not feel like a photo and video shoot for the banger of a web video… It’s more like a family trip to Disney World. Felix, his younger brother and his best friend and filmer Leon are sitting on the back seats of a minivan. Felix’s Dad is driving and absolutely nothing suggests that in about 30 minutes he’ll be on the lookout to warn us if the Police come back while his son climbs onto a roof and 180s off of it. But this kind of scenario is quite normal for Felix. He’s too young to have a driving license and has to rely on his parents driving him everywhere. Yet, he has a mean tabletop, does the biggest truck drops with ease and on top of all that he’s one of the most relaxed guys to be around. Felix Prangenberg really proves that age is just a number.” – Martin Ohliger

DIG X Fly Bikes – Surfing with Sergio Layos

June 19, 2015

DIG just released this fresh video featuring Fly Bikes‘ Sergio Layos catching a massive cement wave at the far southern end of France near the Spain border. Sergio brings his signature style to this massive quarter pipe with some crazy tire slides and huge airs. This spot looks incredibly fun to ride! Check it out!

“”It was right after a BSD trip with Luc Legrand that I met up with Vince Perraud and Sergio Layos on the big transitions of the Ocean Museum of Biarritz (aka The Surf Museum). This spot, between the Pyrenees mountains and the Atlantic Ocean is both beautiful and scary; the ground is like a rough pavement and you need to pedal like a madman to catch any air at all. I had already seen Max Bonfil and Alex Valentino doing some high airs on this but i have to say that Sergio was pretty unbelievable…” – Antoine Sabourin
