The new DIG website has been in the works for, well, since before I used to run it everyday. It sounds like they finally got their ducks in a row and will be launching their new website tomorrow. Richard Forne put together this teaser video to announce it.

The above photo happened to pop up the other day on Twitter and I got really excited. Why? Because one of my personal favorite riders of all time resurfaced after disappearing for about a year. Head on over to the DIG website to check out an interview with Eli. It sounds like his back is all better so maybe this means he will be popping back up again?

You know you want in on this!
“DIG, Fly Bikes and etnies are giving you the chance to win Sergio Layos’ new etnies RVM2 colourway shoes and a Fly signature bike, and it couldn’t be easier to enter! If you want to win all you have to do is go to the DIG Facebook page and follow the instructions.
1. Like the DIG Facebook page
2. Share the photo on your wall.
If you’ve shared the photo, make sure your share is Public, otherwise you won’t be entered into the competition!
Competition is open till the 24th of February, good luck!” – DIG

A little history lesson from Van Homan for you.
“We decided to pick the brains of a rider who has pushed the progression of rail tricks in a big way for at least the last 10 years. Van Homan talks Derek Dusters, accidental tricks, the barspin over grind, hugging security guards, and his inspirations (all with the help of the help of a few images from the DIG archive). This was actually put together a few months ago but for some reason it slipped through the cracks until now.

It just got way easier to get your hands on a new issue of DIG. Now you can have your local shop hit up QBP to get yourself a copy.
“We’ve teamed up with QBMX to expand our DIG distribution in the US and get the magazine to even more bike shops, scenes and riders than ever before. This will coincide with the launch of DIG 87 and the re-launched and enhanced DIG website at the end of February, so look out for that soon. So if you’re in the US and you can’t find DIG on your local newsstand, be sure to check your local BMX friendly bike shop.” – DIG

Here’s a look at Almond‘s latest print ad featuring their Riviera shoes. This one can be found in the new issue of DIG that’s due out soon.
