Anderson Ribeiro gets down at the Drac park down in Brazil…

A few months back, Jose Wilton Oliveira, AKA DRAC BMX was tragically murdered at his shop in Brazil. In his memory, they’ve re-named the Bom Retiro park to include DRAC’s name. Here’s a video the EAL crew put together featuring Anderson “Kakaroto” Ribeiro cruising the park. EAL – Drac BMX Memorial Jam Highlights

The EAL Crew sent through a video from the José Wilton Oliveira “Drac BMX” Memorial Jam down in Brazil….

The other week we found out that José Wilton Oliveira was murdered at his bike shop down in Brazil. As many people know, José, also known as Drac BMX, was a huge driving force behind the BMX scene down in Brazil and it was a huge loss for the community down there. There was a massive jam thrown in memory of Drac recently and the EAL crew put together this great video showing you what went down. It looks like there was a great turnout and plenty of amazing riding and good times being had, just the way José would have wanted it. Hit play and check out what went down. The Brazilian BMX scene has lost a legend. Rest In Peace, José Wilton Oliveira AKA Drac!

BMX has lost another amazing person far too early. We just got word that José Wilton Oliveira was murdered during a robbery at his bike shop, Drac BMX, yesterday in São Paulo. Drac was a HUGE part of why the BMX scene in Brazil has become what it has, with the Drac BMX shop opening in 1997 and his ambition to help grow the scene through events, spots to ride and more. It’s people like Drac that have helped push and grow the BMX scene, showing everyone why BMX is amazing. Rest In Peace, Drac… You have left your mark on the history of BMX and will never be forgotten.
