Check out highlights from this year’s Detroit Street Jam!

The scene in Detroit has always been real solid and this video from their annual street jam is a good reminder of that. Here’s a look at everything that went down as a ton of riders get to work on a bunch of spots. It looks like they had perfect weather for this one, and everyone had a good time. Check it!

Check out what went down during the Detroit BMX Street Jam!

Last weekend there was a huge BMX street jam that went down in Detroit, Michigan! Here’s a video Dylan Thayer put together giving us a look at everything that went down from some of the familiar faces to a few new ones that were throwing down for some cash and prizes. For whatever reason we don’t see a ton of videos out of Detroit, but it’s safe to say they have a real good scene. Get on that play button to check out everything that went down.

Albe’s 2021 Street Mix

Here’s a new mix Dylan Thayer put together for Albe’s BMX featuring their squad out in Michigan going to work on street spots! Check out 10 minutes of dialed riding that is too good to pass up.

Gage Sharp – Woodward Power Hour

Gage Sharp recently spent some time at Woodward East. During his stay, he decided to take on a Power Hour challenge to see what he could knock out for clips in an hour. Needless to say, Gage delivered with a ton of great riding you won’t want to miss. Check it!

Standard Bykes – Woodward 2021

The Standard Bykes team took a trip out to Woodward East to spend a few days riding and hanging out with the campers. Here’s a look at the riding that went down during their stay! It looks like these guys had a real good time from the ramps and plazas to the track!

“Shredders from Standard pro team drove came out to Camp Woodward PA for week 11. Always a blast hanging with them, dudes definitely bringing in the fire riding. As well stoked see some amazing campers ripping it up on the new and almost complete Town center park, which you’ll see the team getting down with some party lines in. Check it, and give Tommy C a high five next time you see him for sending his first double flip to wood!

Jamie Thayer – “#THEWAYOUT” Section

A little while back we got a look at the full “THEWAYOUT” Full Video that turned out really good. Today, Jamie Thayer‘s banger of a section was re-uploaded because it’s 10 minutes of pure goodness that you won’t want to miss. Hit play and take it all in because Jamie put a lot of work into making this part, and he put his deep bag of tricks to good use on everything he came across from street spots and ramps to rooftops and more!

“Well, this is what four years of dedication looks like! Jamie Thayer went waaaay way in for his first ever section and ending part from #thewayout video. Not a lot of people can say their first part was this hectic! He filmed so much crazy shit for this two-song masterpiece, shot throughout the Midwest. Roof clips, huge rails, massive whip gaps – this has it all. Incredible stuff.

DIY Detroit or Bust

DIY spots are a lot like trails. They can be there one day, and gone the next. Some of the crew up in Detroit recently spent some time cruising at a DIY spot before things got shut down. Check out a bunch of clips featuring a handful of familiar faces and a few new ones going to work on the setup they built inside this abandoned building.

“How does the saying go? “As one door closes, another one opens”… Well, that’s exactly what happened to the Detroit scene when their DIY park got the wrecking ball treatment… kinda. Soon as one was gone, another DIY was born, only to be shut down once again. Luckily the crew managed to a couple of days fun before it was all over. Dylan Thayer explains more…” – DIG

“End of April 2019, word was out that one of the local DIY parks in Detroit was closing/being demolished. Meanwhile, some homies found a covered spot (this) which was possibly going to be the replacement location. With it already having a few things already built inside, seeming like a prefect new location for a new DIY beginning. I decided to start filming some riding, hoping to catch some attention of more people to be involved. When unfortunately police stopped by and gave the boot explaining not to come back because the city literally just built a Bike/skate Plaza down by the river side. (which is one of the few things i’m working on currently) So this is everything filmed in the first and only two days at what we thought was going to be the new DIY spot.” – Dylan Thayer
