Ain’t nothin’ wrong with some brake action.
“Eastern Bikes‘, Nick DiGeroloma is currently brakeless. He likes to switch it back and forth to keep things fresh. Earlier this year when he still had his stoppers on, we filmed some random clips that I put together for this “Give Me a Brake” Edit. Nick is currently filming for the Hunt, so look out for that and see his riding sans brakes.

Eastern has been in the complete bikes game for a long time now. I still remember my buddy back in middle school had one, haha. They just dropped this flipbook featuring their 2013 complete bikes for you to get a look at. There’s some real dialed looking bikes in there for sure. Take a peek.
Over the past few years, there has been quite a bit of talk about a freecoaster that Karl Poynter had been working on. The project has been through it all with sponsor changes and design changes, but it has slowly come together and it becoming available is near. The other day, I spotted news that Karl’s freecoaster would finally be available in the next few months which is a good sign. I figured it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with him to find out what’s new and try to get a few words about the hub out of him since he’s been pretty tight lipped about it from the start. Let’s see what he had to say!

It looks like Kelly Bolton is finally all healed up from his leg injury so he’s been back on the bike! Check out this video bike check he put together for Eastern with some rad riding clips mixed in. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of him again.
