In The Cut: Eclat in Chile

A few weeks back, the Eclat team made their way to Chile to do some filming with Rich Forne. Here’s a little raw cut, behind the scenes action that Ryan Scott put together from when he wasn’t shooting photos. This gives you a look at some b-roll riding footage, a lot of lifestyle action and even a good look at the RIOTS THE TEAM WAS IN the middle of!

“In preparation for the upcoming Éclat in Chile video that we have dropping on Tuesday, we’ve got a behind-the-scenes look at what Bruno Hoffmann, Alex Kennedy, Stevie Churchill and Sean Burns got up to during their time in Chile and its capital city, Santiago. Ever tried to film a clip during a full-on riot in the street with tear gas filling your lungs? Or had all the windows in your hotel smashed to pieces in front of you? Nope… didn’t think so… Despite the turbulent conditions in Chile the guys came away with so much crazy footage for the camera of Rich Forne – look out for that right here on the 16th, along with full coverage from our man with tear-gassed eyeballs Ryan Scott.

Eclat Caught In the Middle of Riots in Chile

One of the best parts about traveling is not knowing what you might just get yourself into or witness. Some of the Eclat team; Alex Kennedy, Bruno Hoffmann, Stevie Churchill, Sean Burns and TM Paul Robinson, are currently in Chile on a trip and they were smack dab in the middle of a riot… Literally. They posted up a bunch of photos and video clips that are pretty crazy to see. Check that out right here. Let’s just assume this is one BMX trip these guys will never forget.

The new Stevie Churchill signature “Tie Dye” Fireball tires from Eclat are OUT NOW. These tires are made from a 60 threads per inch construction with a puncture resistant nylon layer and a wire bead to hold it tight on your rim. The tread pattern is designed to give you a smooth ride on the streets with plenty of traction thanks to aggressive grooves on the sides and knurling throughout the tread. The Fireball tires come in 2.30″ and 2.40″ with a 100 PSI tire rating, color options of black and blue, black and red, white and black, full black, full gum, full burgundy and Forest green with a black sidewall and a weight of 25.9 oz. Eclat – Frenchys Warehouse Session

Eclat‘s French connects, Robin Bouris and Thomas Bendetti, recently spent a little time cruising the ledge, rail and quarter pipe at the Frenchys Distribution warehouse. Take a peek at this little BMX video they cooked up from the session!

Dillon Lloyd Bike Check

There’s a fresh bike check with Dillon Lloyd up on the Eclat website giving us a real good look at his prototype signature Wethepeople Buck frame and bars that should be out some time around September! This looks like one sturdy BMX bike to us! At least… If it holds up to Dillon’s riding, it has to be!

There’s always a pretty steady flow of new BMX talent coming out of the United Kingdom. Recently, we’ve been seeing a name popping up that has really caught our attention. Some of you might be familiar with Jordan Godwin from some of the videos he has popped up in over the past few months where he was absolutely crushing it.
