What are you doing July 16th? If you’re near Ithaca, New York, then you’re going to want to make your way to the FBM warehouse. They will be giving tours of the machine shop, having a vert demo, ramps and rails to ride and more from Noon until 5PM. You can find the building at 478 Lower Creek Rd. In Ithaca, New York.
Then, the following day, FBM will be throwing a jam at the Ithaca Skatepark! So, if you’re looking for a good time, those are the days to mark your calendar for!
A few years back, FBM celebrated their 21st birthday by doing a big trip that Epic TV ran as a series. They decided to put all the sections together and re-uploaded it to the FBM channel for your viewing pleasure. Hit play and take a ride on the bus as the crew bounced around riding spots, having a really good time. Crazy to think it has already been two years since this came out… Time flies when you’re having fun!

It’s always pretty crazy seeing what can be cooked up for color options these days. We’ve seen a lot of unique ones from the different styles of camouflage, oil slick, celestial, tie dye, etc., etc. over the past few years. It looks like the crew at FBM got a shocking idea for a new color that they’re calling “Ride the Lightning” that looks like some crazy lightning. There isn’t much info to come along with the photos, but it looks like the color will be available on their PMA Topload stem, Black Heart flangless grips and Nice Nylon pedals here in the U.S through QBMX and preferred BMX shops worldwide soon. Will these be the only parts available in this color? We’re not 100% sure. We do have a feeling these might be real popular since that color looks rad, though. Maybe since FBM and Profile Racing collaborate on a number of things, there will be some matching hubs to go with these colors? That would be pretty sweet.

FBM dropped a quick Bike Check with one of their newer recruits that we’ve been seeing popping up on trips and more with that crew lately, Kaleb Bolton, and his current Hardway V2 setup that he’s running. There’s a fresh Bike Check up on the Madera website giving you a closer look at Mike Hinkens‘ current FBM Hardway setup that’s decked out with parts from top to bottom in FBM, Madera, Profile Racing and more. Mike kept things stealth with an all black setup for his latest build and we’re thinking it looks damn good. It looks like the guys looking for 22″ frames have another option! FBM are taking pre-orders on their 22″ Steadfast frames that are currently in production. This frame that’s made right here in the U.S.A from 100% 4130 chromoly has a 74.25-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 12.25″ bottom bracket height, 9.375″ stand over height and a 14.125″ (slammed) chainstay length. You can find an externally machined integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, internally machined Mid bottom bracket, double bend, tapered chainstays, welded chainstay brake mounts and guides and heat-treated 14mm dropouts. The 22″ steadfast has a 21.75″ stop tube length, comes in colors of black, translucent brown and clear coat raw with a weight of 5 lbs even.
The 22″ Steadfast is available for $369.99 and you can get your pre-order in by having your local shop contact FBM or direct from their Webstore!
