Beer, ghetto ramps, trails and good times… The 2017 FBM Ghetto King of Bert!

Whenever FBM throws a jam, you know things are going to get wild. Between super sketchy ramps made out of pallets, all sorts of wild dudes showing up to party and guys like Mat Hoffman as a judge, it’s safe to say the 2017 Ghetto King of Bert was a success. Here’s a raw cut of footage showing you what went down from the ghetto ramps to the trails session the following day.

“FBM’s Ghetto King Of Bert weekend (that is not a typo; it’s named after a Richmond local named Bert) was a typical FBM-style comp/jam with a loose format, loose judging, and of course, wild riding and antics focused around one thing- fun. With BMX royalty like Mat Hoffman, Van Homan, and Cranman himself present, you couldn’t help but have a smile on your face all weekend long. FBM – M-80 Pegs

How has the M-80 name never been used before for a BMX peg? Here’s a look at the new M-80 Pegs from FBM…

Are you due for a new set of BMX Pegs? You’re in luck because you now have another option! FBM have released their new M-80 Peg for you to get your grind on with. These pegs start out with a heat-treated 4130 chromoly core with a 14mm bore (3/8″ adaptor included) and have a Nylon sleeve that slides over the core. The peg is 4.33″ long and has a diameter of 40mm (1.57″). The pegs come in black with an FBM logo and weigh in at 7.8 oz.

You can pick the M-80 Pegs up for $21.99 each with replacement sleeves available for $6.99 when you wear through from all the grinding you’re about to do.

The peg comes with a 14mm bore and a 3/8″ adaptor so you can run these pegs up front or in the back no problem.

The M-80 Pegs are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry FBM worldwide now.

It’s been fun watching the Halahan brothers grow up and turn into some serious shredders over the past few years. FBM just dropped a fresh Bike Check with Lukas Halahan and his new Young Boy Frame setup that runs 20″ wheels, but has smaller geometry like a 19.5″ top tube length. FBM Open House August 26th

It’s that time of the year again! FBM will be doing their annual Open House at their warehouse in Ithaca, New York on August 26th! The team will be there, tours of the shop, riding and more. This is bound to be a good time, so if you’re in the area, plan to hit this up!

“Last Year we had our first open house at our warehouse in Ithaca NY, inviting friends, family, riders, and bike shops to come check out our new bikes, hit up some ramps, and see a vert demo by the FBM crew. We even had an FBM ‘Museum’ by Tim Kirkindell!
