Sneak Peek: Fit Bike Co. – Sleeper Frame

February 10, 2019

Get a look at a prototype of the new Sleeper Frame from Fit Bike Co…

Imprimatur BMX Fit Bike Co. Sleeper BMX frame Ethan Corriere BMX

It looks like Fit Bike Co. have a new frame in the works and Ethan Corriere will be putting the Sleeper Frame through its paces. In an Instagram post (below), Ethan mentions that it’s exactly like his previous frame, but a little longer. So, we would have to imagine he was referring to the Savage frame, but with a longer top tube length. Obviously this is just based off the post and what we’re seeing in the photo. We’re not sure if the Sleeper frame is Ethan’s signature frame or a team frame like the Savage was, but it’s possible since Ethan’s into cars and the sleeper name would fit that. Either way, we’ll keep you posted when we know more about the frame! Until then, keep an eye on Ethan since we’re sure he’ll be putting out a ton of clips on the frame now that he’s healed up from his broken leg.

“Austin Augie, Ethan Corriere, Jordan Hango and Matt Nordstrom visit Calgary, Canada for the latest Fit feature “STAMPEDE.”

The trip was only a week and had a jam planned right in the middle that got rained out and pushed to the following day. Add on two more days of rain and you have nearly a 4 minute video filmed in just three days. Quite impressive.

ENJOY!

Fit Bike Co. – Clay Brown Hartbreaker Frame

June 28, 2018

Fit Bike Co. have released their Hartbreaker frame in this new Clay Brown color!

Is it time for a new frame and you want something built for trails? The Chris Harti signature Hartbreaker frame from Fit Bike Co. is now available in this new Clay Brown colorway through BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide. If you aren’t familiar with the Hartbreaker frame, it’s made in the U.S.A from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.35″ bottom bracket height, 9.15″ standover height and a 13.8″ – 14.5″ chainstay length. You can find an engraved Key logo Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a butted Supertherm top tube, straight gauge Supertherm down tube, a double butted seat tube with a cable guide through the tube, slightly tapered seat stays, slightly tapered and single bend chain stays, longer drop out slots and welded on chainstay brake mounts.

The Hartbreaker frame comes in 21″, 21.125″, 21.25″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths with Clay Brown and Matte Black for colors and a price tag of $369.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders worldwide.

“The Hartbreaker is Chris Harti’s long, low and laid back shred sled designed for going fast and big at the trails with stability. Cable routing thru the seat tube keeps your straddle hanger from slapping your down tube and works really well on this frame since the chain stays are pretty long. The 14mm drop out slot instead of the traditional 3/8” trail frame slot allow you a larger variety of affordable rear hubs to choose from. Single bend chain stays, straight stay bridges and lack of welded on seat clamp are all classic touches on this modern frame designed for timeless BMX riding.” – Fit Bike Co.

“If you like travelling at high speeds and pulling back as hard as you possibly can while being in control, then the Hartbreaker might be the frame for you. It features a mellow 74.5° head tube, a low 11.35” BB height, and a nice 9.15” standover to match. Top it all off with a longer back-end you can trust and you got yourself a machine that’s ready for roasting, Oh! I had to make sure she was built like an ox too.” – Chris Harti

Fit Bike Co. – Tom Dugan Video Bike Check

June 22, 2018

Tom Dugan sits down to talk about his current setup!

The crew at Fit Bike Co. sat Tom Dugan at Empire to have Tom give us a proper run through on what he’s running for a setup these days! After he gives the run through, he blasts the Empire mini ramp! Hit play and take a look at this dialed rig!

“We don’t often worry about doing Bike Checks with Dugan… ’cause your main man is under contract to run everything but frame and bars wit dem Odyssey boys… but we just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know, that we gots the Dugan bar in two sizes – 8.75″ and 9.25″ A N D D D D D D D D that there’s a new DUGAN frame on the drawing board!

So… we’re taking this one to the streets, what sort of geo, colors et. al. would Dugan fans like to see in the next incarnation of this maniac’s frame? Sound off, and if we like your ideas, shit… we might just run downstairs to the machine shop and make you a frame when we run his sample (you know, ’cause that’s how we do it at Fit/S&M HQ). #mericanmade
