Spotted this on Flat Matters. Dan Buck Joyce recently picked up a Black Magic Cinema Camera, GoPro Black edition and a DJi Phantom Quadcopter and decided to pull them all out and give it a test. This flatland edit gives you a look at how the test went with some interesting shots and some real good riding.
One Love – 4/20 Jam Edit
Spotted this video over on Flat Matters. Take a look at what went down at the One Love jam that went down on Saturday in California. If you’re looking for some real solid flatland riding, this is the video to hit the play button on. Looks like it was a good time to me.
“The 4/20Jam went down this last Saturday. It is really hard to ride and collect footage, so here’s what I got. Big thanks to everyone who came out and a big thanks to our sponsors! Deco, Ed B, Ying, Primo, Revenge, SandM bikes, and 3D Growers.”
Scott O’Brien – Snapshot
Spotted this over on Flat Matters. Film maker, Mickey Gaidos, teamed up with Scott O’Brien for a video contest that required only using a cell phone to film it. Now, the quality issue would normally be a factor, but if you know what you’re doing then that’s not really an issue. Check out this video they filmed on an iPhone 4s that ultimately won the contest. Rad.
Scott Powell – HD Test
Spotted this one over on Flat Matters. Scott Powell might have just got in on the HD camera game, but he’s been killing it on a bike forever. Check out this video of him testing out the new camera along with putting in some work on a few of his bikes. I forgot about that crazy bike he has with the cranks on the front axle like a unicycle. Take a look!
“I finally stepped into the 21st century and got an HD camera; it is an action camera so it does not have a stablizer. I decided to test it out by filming a quick edit in the same way that I would have if i was using my TRV 900. After filming some random combos and mending them together, here is what I came up with …” – Scott Powell
Shinichi Kiba Bike Check

Head over to Flat Matters for a fresh bike check with Shinichi Kiba! That’s one hell of a flatland unit right there.
Showtime with Matthias Dandois and Chris Bohm
Spotted on Flat Matters. Matthias Dandois and Chris Bohm recently spent some time over in Switzerland doing some shows for G-Shock. Chris got his camera up on a tripod to give you a look at a little of the riding the two did for the crowd. Take a look!
Johann Chan – 1 Minute 46 Seconds of an Almost Perfect Life
Spotted this over on Flat Matters. Check out Johann Chan getting some time in to put it all into perspective to remind himself what riding is all about. This is one flatland edit worth taking a look at!
“After spending alot of time showcasing and filming others, it was a pub conversation with Dave Beveridge which inspired this edit. In short, he suggested that all the fluff – like interviewing and photographing other people – almost misses the point, and the true essence of BMX was in riding and putting yourself out there. We’re under no illusions of being the next Dandois, Beckmann or Foakes but ‘My mate Dave in the pub’ is a wise man! So here you go, dedicated to Dave, my friends and family: problems aside, and crashes edited out, here’s 1 minute 46 seconds of an almost perfect life.” – Johann Chan
Waldemar Fatkin & Stephan Kornely Edit
Spotted this fresh one featuring Waldemar Fatkin and Stephan Kornely putting down some crazy links over on Flat Matters. I’m not sure exactly what this is for, but I’ve gathered it’s a promo for some sort of break dance event called Care that’ll be raising money for something. You can find out more right here if you speak German.
