Next up, we decided to swing over to our friends from Spain at Fly Bikes and see just what they have been cooking up. We’ve been seeing a few previews of their 2016 line over the past few months which included a new BMX frame, parts and complete bikes, so we were definitely interested in seeing what they had cooked up… They definitely had a lot to see. Let’s take a look!
Sneak Peek: Fly Bikes – Dark Gold Colorway
Fly Bikes just released a preview of their new Dark Gold colorway that will be dropping soon with their 2016 range! This is just one of their new colors they’re going to be offering this year and there’s no denying that it looks awesome. We also see their Classic rim with all of the drilled holes has made its way back to their line up! We’re sure some of you will be stoked on that.
“For 2016, we’re very excited to introduce our new Dark Gold colorway to our parts line up. This color will be featured on our full range of parts and even a few of our complete bikes. We’re beyond thrilled on how good it looks.
This color will be available when our full range of 2016 complete bikes, frames and parts drop later this year!”

Fly Bikes – Larry Edgar Welcome Video
Here’s some news that some of you might have caught on to while watching Larry Edgar blast to the moon during the Van Doren Invitational the other weekend… Fly Bikes have officially added him to their team! It sounds like he’s still riding for SE Bikes as well, similar to how Matt Roe rides for Mutiny. Either way, they dropped this damn good video to go along with the news!
“When it comes to our team, we are always looking to find riders that have a recognizable style and know how to make riding BMX look good. We have been big fans of Larry Edgar’s riding that is fast paced and packed full of style. Plus, Larry is just as awesome off his bike as he is on it, which made it an easy decision to add him to our line up.
Some of you might have seen this news coming when he was blasting the Van Doren Invitational course a few weeks back rocking Flybikes products on his bike. Today we’re very excited to officially welcome Larry to the Flybikes family with this video giving you a taste of just what he is capable of.

“Flybikes and I have decided to go our separate ways. I wanna thank David for everything he has done for me and I’ll never forget our good times together. I wish them the best.” – Shane Weston
