Frayed Magazine X Lucho Vidales

April 30, 2016

Frayed Magazine have released their 4th round of their series featuring a few of BMX’s finest photographers. This time around we learn about Lucho Vidales and how he got into photography, BMX and more. Great video, awesome photos. Take a peek, especially if you’re a aspiring photographer.

“Lucho isn’t chasing a goal or seeking a destination. He’s experimenting with where his journey is taking him and enjoying every moment of it.
Lucho, originally from Argentina and now based in Barcelona, welcomed us into his home city to gain an insight into his photography. We travelled out there with Pro BMX rider Mike Curley, who took to the streets of Barcelona. See what Lucho created in his film portrait.

Frayed Magazine X Jason Colledge

April 16, 2016

We have been loving these photographer features that Frayed Magazine have been putting out. Today, we get some insight into how Jason Colledge got himself into photography, his current setup, how things have progressed to where he is today, where he wants to take things and a look at some of the amazing photos he’s been shooting. Jason is one of those guys who’s dialed on both sides of the lens since he absolutely shreds on a bike, too. That’s always rad to see how a rider can combine two talents.

“Jason Colledge, a film portrait.

“I would much rather have a photograph in my mind and then want to recreate it. It’s almost like a game for me. A game to get what’s in my head in the camera. I want to push myself and push the people I’m taking photos of”.

We met up with Jason in Bristol to document his work and see behind the lens.

You know you’re in for a treat when a new Mike Curley BMX video drops! Add in some really good film work and you have a video that you cannot pass up!

“Wethepeople’s Mike Curley hit the road between the east and west coast in the north of England stopping off at some prime spots along the way. Mike is well known for his bike control and some of these clips solidify that heavily, especially some of those crazy nose manual combos.
