There has been a lot of talk about voting between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich lately, but here’s something you won’t have any trouble voting for. Red Bull have opened up Voting for the 2016 Illume photo contest and there are two photos by George Marshall and Eisa Bakos that have made it into the finals. Both photos are of Bas Keep‘s insane bridge gap to wall ride drop, just from different angles. Eisa covered the top sequence and below you can check out George Marshall’s photo from the bottom. You can vote for both photos on the Red Bull website now.

Vote for Eisa RIGHT HERE.

Vote for George RIGHT HERE.

Note: For some reason the Red Bull website isn’t pulling up the right photos even though the links are right (We checked). If you try to get one or the other photo, scroll through the photos and find the one you’re looking for. Also note that you only get ONE VOTE, so you have to pick. Not sure why Red Bull’s website is goofing up. Either way, both photos are amazing. Check it!

eisa-bakos-endless-mag-bmx

A few weeks back, we caught wind of a new magazine launching in the U.K called Endless Mag.There hasn’t been a ton of details released about it since other than an Instagram that’s packed full of gold and a few features on the website. The crew over at Defgrip caught up with the man at the helm of the project, Eisa Bakos, to talk a little bit about what Endless Mag is, why he decided to start a magazine when most of the others are closing up shop and heading to full-digital and what’s the come in the future. You can check that out over on the Defgrip website — Q&A: Eisa Bakos / Endless Mag

A New BMX Magazine On the Rise? Endless Mag

June 1, 2015

endless-mag-bmx

Over the past few years we have seen a pretty heavy change in the print side of BMX with magazines like DIG and Ride UK discontinuing print and The Albion completely going away. It was a bit of a surprise when we caught wind that there might be a new magazine based out of the UK in the works. Initially, we kind of figured it wasn’t anything to get too excited about, but then we found out just who is behind it. Then we found out that ex-Ride UK staff, Eisa Bakos and Jason “Fooman” Cooledge are behind it. That’s more than enough to know this might just be something to keep an eye out for.

No major details have been released, but they have an Instagram and Website setup, but they just have the bare minimum with the logo you see above to give away.

We’ll have to keep an eye out for this one, because it could lead to some good things.
