If you keep up with the East Coast scene, or really the Deadline, The Trip or Fiend guys, there’s a good chance you have seen Chris Marshall’s name in a photo credit or ten. Chris is one of the guys that riders like Garrett Reynolds, Ty Morrow and Augie Simoncini trust to get the photo when it counts.
We’ve been seeing his name pop up pretty much everywhere between all of the magazines and different websites and figured it was more than time to get ahold of this guy and find out what he’s all about. We have a damn good Photos: interview that is a great read below along with a PHOTOGALLERY with a few of Chris’ favorite photos for you guys to get stoked on! So let’s get into this and find out just what this guy behind the lens ( and mask?) is all about.

Peep Game – West Coast Mixtape

December 6, 2013

The latest Peep Game video features a ton of heavy hitters getting down on spots out in Southern California! You already know with a line up that includes guys like Garrett Reynolds, Kevin Kiraly, Ty Morrow and many more that it’s going to be worth a look!

“Peep Game just came through with a great West Coast mix tape from the last couple months of BMX street riding in SoCal. Featuring Sean Ricany, Anthony “BOY” Flores, Andrew Castaneda, Kevin Kiraly, Augie Simoncini, Steve Croteau, Joe Riley, Garrett Reynolds, Ty Morrow, and JJ Palmere—there are some bad ass lines in here and a couple gems like Ty’s fakie tooth 180 and Garrett’s bench hop into a cheese grater ditch. Filmed by Steve Croteau.” – Crooked World

Through The Lens: What You Didn’t Know – Garrett Reynolds

November 20, 2013

There has always been something intriguing to me about getting some behind the scenes details on a photo. I don’t know what it is about it but I just get stoked on seeing exactly how someone shot a specific photo and get a little insight into the process. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that every photographer shoots a little differently, which in turn makes each story unique in its own way. I can remember studying photos in magazines and borderline obsessing about the way that they were shot and honestly over the years not much has changed. I still find myself getting lost in photos to this day with the same level of curiosity that I had when I first started shooting. With that said, enjoy round six of WYDK.

2013 Nora Cup Awards Results

October 21, 2013

(Picture taken from Sunday’s Instagram.)

As always, there has been a lot of anticipation about who would win what at Nora Cup this year. As I and many people expected, Deadline took home everything it could have: Video of the year, video part of the year (Garrett Reynolds’ section), and Garrett took street rider of the year. Dennis Enarson took the ramp rider honors, Hucker brought it home in the dirt category, and Viki Gomez won for flatland. No word yet on who won race of the year, most likely because very few people at the event probably cared about it.
