Over the weekend, Profile Racing and Madera loaded up for a couple of Midwest skatepark stops. They made their way to Bluff Valley’s Over the Top Skatepark on Saturday. There was a real good turn out and a ton of people were going off. Jeff Klugiewicz, Matt Coplon, Jeff Dowhen, Mike Hinkens, Grant Casstelluzzo, Mark Mulville, Wade Lajlar, Dylan McCauley and a few others were in the house along with Reed Stark and Erik Elstran who came out to ride for the day. This video that Blake Waters made gives you a look at some of the riding that went down. Expect a full photogallery tomorrow from me and another edit from the Profile guys showing you the rest of the trip!
Grant Castelluzzo, Mike Hinkens, Dan Kruk and Keith Lally made their way to the Asylum skatepark to get some riding time in recently. Check out this video Grant put together from the clips they ended up filming. Definitely looks like they had a good time.

Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of different people pick up cameras around here. In all reality, I think that’s one thing that has really stood out from the Midwest scene; the number of recognizable names who not only kill it on a bike, but kill it behind the lens. It’s pretty crazy to think of the dense population of filmers in the Chicago / Milwaukee area that have been doing things even before Youtube and Vimeo or even GoPro cameras to make things so much easier to produce an edit and get it out there… It must be in the PBR or something. One of those guys from that area is Grant Castelluzzo who has had plenty of years of experience behind a camera, but up until this past year or so he started turning it into a job instead of just a hobby. We figured it would be a good time to get ahold of him to find out just how things all got started and how they’re going today. Let’s see what he had to say!

Check out this new one of Grant Castelluzzo and Brandon Hoerres getting some riding time in at their local park, 4Seasons in this new edit for Mutiny Bikes. Both of these guys came through with some damn good clips.
Music: Of Monsters And Men – Six Weeks

Make your way on over to the Data BMX website to get a closer look at Grant Castelluzzo’s current setup decked out with Mutiny and Profile Racing parts.
It’s a pretty good sign that you’re doing something right when people are putting together highlight videos made out of all your best clips from the year. Here’s one a fan did of Grant Castelluzzo’s footage from 2012 except for the Profile video that was a bomb shell of goodness. This one is rad though. Check it!
