It looks like Grant Castelluzzo’s signature Obscura frame from Mutiny Bikes will be available in two new colors later this month; translucent red and matte black! The Obscura frame is made from 100% 4130 Sanko chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.95″ standover height and 13″ (slammed) chain stay length. The Obscura frame comes in top tube lengths of 20.2″, 20.5″, 20.8″ and 21.1″ with a weight of 5 lbs. (20.6″).
On February 10th 2015, BMX lost one of the Midwest’s greatest BMX riders, Dominic Trovato. Dom was not only an absolute shredder on a bike, but he was also an amazing person. The news of Dom’s passing left riders all over the world saddened.
On April 11th, Jeff Klugiewicz along with friends and family of Dom threw a get together at 4Seasons Skatepark in Milwaukee to remember and celebrate Dominic’s life.
There was a big session with a huge turn out of riders from all over that came together to have a good time on their bikes, just like Dom would have wanted it to be like. The Racine Skatepark has been a staple in the Midwest BMX scene for 16 years and this past weekend the 13th Annual Racine Jam went down with a ton of familiar faces making an appearance.
