Profile Racing – Grant Castelluzzo “Tech Support”

May 10, 2017

When you think of technical grind combos, there’s a good chance Grant Castelluzzo‘s riding instantly comes to mind. Grant is notorious for putting together some ridiculous grind combos with all for our his pegs that usually require a rewind or two to fully understand what he did. Here’s his latest for Profile Racing that has a pretty laid back vibe to it, but the riding is so technical that’ll definitely have your head spinning a bit. Take a look!

“For Grant Castelluzzo, tech riding is a lifestyle… Grant might be doing to most grinds in a single link in BMX right now. Think about that. Grant put some months in for Profile BMX with Scott Marceau behind the lens and this is the end result.

Grant Castelluzzo OFF Mutiny Bikes

March 31, 2017

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming! It looks like Grant Castelluzzo has decided to part ways with Mutiny Bikes after 7 years leaving his signature Obscura frame behind. It sounds like it was a mutual agreement based off Grant’s comments on the news. We’re not sure if he has a new deal lined up or not, but Grant has been staying busy behind the scenes as a filmer and more for Profile Racing and Ride BMX, plus he’s still putting out a steady stream of footage. Grant informed us that he has a new video coming soon as well. Below you can find Grant’s words on the news.

“I want to thank Gaz and Mutiny bikes for all of their help, love, and support over the last 7 years but as of today I will no longer be riding for the brand. 7 years is a long time to ride for a brand especially in BMX and there are no hard feelings between myself and Mutiny in anyway. Sometimes people just end up going in different directions and you have to do what feels right. Nothing but love here.”

A huge thank you to everyone who bought or was ever interested in one of my signature products. You guys are the best #bmx

Grant Castelluzzo Bumped To Dan’s Comp Pro Team

January 31, 2017

A little hard work always pays off. It looks like Grant Castelluzzo has been given the bump on up to the Dan’s Comp Pro team for 2017. This should mean we’ll be seeing plenty more of Grant on both sides of the lens in the foreseeable future. Get the full details below.

“We are excited to announce that Grant Castelluzzo has been promoted to the Dan’s Comp Pro Team for 2017. Grant joined the crew last Spring via the flow program and has put in work, repped the bolt and kept the wheels spinning in all directions. In addition to his riding/repping responsibilities, part of Grant’s promotion involves filming and producing some riding videos for Dan’s Comp throughout the year. We’re excited to have Grant more involved in the whole Dan’s Comp team.” – Dan’s Comp

“After an incredibly helpful and amazing 2016 with Dan’s Comp, I am super stoked, honored, and humbled to be asked to be a bigger part of the brand for 2017. In addition to being added to the ridiculously stacked Pro team, I will be helping to produce some online content for the team throughout the year in the form of some short video projects. I can’t wait to start working with the crew, as well as becoming more involved with the brand. Nothing but good times ahead!” – Grant

Welcome to the next level, Grant! Grant holds it down for Mutiny Bikes, Profile and Dan’s Comp.

Mutiny Bikes – Grant Castelluzzo 2016 Video

August 26, 2016

Mutiny Bikes‘ master grind technician known as Grant Castelluzzo has a fresh batch of clips for your viewing pleasure! Hit play to check out some super technical grind combos and lines that will leave you wondering just how the hell he pulls off half of these clips. Excellent riding, rad spots and clean film work. Can’t go wrong with this one!

“Recent West Coast transplant and Mutiny OG Grant Castelluzzo has been working on this new Mutiny piece for a while now in and around San Diego with Doeby Huynh close by capturing all the best bits. Grant’s technical ability has been crazy for ages but it always seems to be progressing, as evident after watching this. Great job by Doeby on this one too.” – DIG

Sneak Peek: Mutiny Bikes – Grant Castelluzzo Signature Obscura Guard Sprocket

August 5, 2016

mutiny-bikes-grant-castelluzzo-signature-bmx-sprocket

Here’s one we spotted while cruising the old Instagram tonight on the Pentra sprocket and a new addition. It looks like Grant Castelluzzo has a signature full guard sprocket in the works with Mutiny Bikes called the Obscura! Not much for details just yet, but we do know it is a full guard sprocket, appears to use the same design as the Pentra sprocket, should come in colors of black and polished, spline drive only and will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders in October! We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more. Presumably we will get more info at Interbike next month!
