Spend some time with Greg Illingworth as he spends a day riding the spots that shaped his riding career…

Although Greg Illingworth doesn’t lve in South Africa anymore, he still makes the trip back to revisit his hometown spots and to visit friends and family. Here’s a video where Greg spends a day going through some of those old spots and talks about some of the experiences and memories that have shaped him into the rider he is today!

We follow him over a full day through Johannesburg in the company of the guy who first put him on video, Jimmy Reynolds, to discuss Greg’s move to Hastings UK, growing up riding in a place like SA, his influential meeting with the T1 crew during their World Tour in 2003 and his changing thoughts on his home country. He also revisits his early riding spots including the legendary Germiston bowl, and meets up with some of the next generation of local riders, as well as getting taking to the streets and checking out one of the wildest spots you’ll ever have witnessed. Greg Illingworth had a productive 24 hours in Hamburg, Germany!

Here’s a short but sweet one Greg Illingworth put together from some time he spent in Hamburg, Germany riding a quarterpipe setup he brought to a few street spots and more. As always, Greg brings a ton of speed and style to everything he does, making for a great watch. This is what a productive day looks like!

Until you scare the shit out of yourself. When you ride away happy to be in one piece & laughing at yourself. Then, almost instantly you wonder if you can go a little faster again.”

Ride Further Tour – Stop #5

The Ride Further Tour continues. Here’s a look at what went down when the crew rolled through the Lake Constance, Austria skatepark for some riding time and to throw a contest for the locals and a number of pros that turned out for the event! Below is a video giving you a look at what went down from dodging the rain to the actual contest!

“It was at one of Europe’s largest concrete parks, right next to beautiful lake Constance in Austria where the Ride Further Tour Stop #5 presented by JVBL & Homme Magazine was supposed to go down and expectation were high with an amazing lineup of international and local riders but the weather just didn’t feel like playing its part.
Non-stop rain all forced everyone to go for plan B and check out the indoor parks but together with the riders the crew decided to believe in the changing weather forecast for Sunday and pull the event of in just one day. And luck was on their side! #herewego

Mongoose Jam 2017 – Team Illingworth

The amazing videos from this years Mongoose Jam continue to surface! This time around we get a look at what Greg Illingworth‘s team consisting of Van Homan, Murray Loubser and camper Jack Seeley with filmer Kevin Schnider cooked up! Greg went hard on the coaching to push these guys and they ended up coming through with a ton of amazing riding and a good vibe.
