Product: G-Sport – Pleg 2 – Out Now

We caught wind that the Pleg 2 from G-Sport was out about a week ago, but we didn’t have the full specs, so I figured we better post that up. The Pleg 2 starts with a 7075-T6 aluminum core that has been slimmed down for a smaller overall diameter and ultimately a stiffer peg. The sleeve is made from a proprietary plastic blend that’s 4″ in length and has a diameter of 39mm, which is what most steel pegs have. You can pick these up in 14mm or 3/8″ with a wight of 3.6 oz.

Above is a photo of the original Pleg next to the Pleg 2 and a regular steel peg. As you can see, the Pleg 2 has come down in size and looks more like a regular peg in size. This is good for all the riders who didn’t like the original Pleg due to how bulky it looked.

G-Sport just scooped up Zach Krejmas for their team. Zach had a big pop of media coverage a while back, then seemed to fade out for a minute. Now he’s back with what I think is his best edit to date, and also news that he has a full section in the upcoming OSS DVD. That explains the shortage of footage lately!

For this week I had a few things in mind that I wanted to work on but when I was out shooting the other day Andrew Jackson showed up with a freshly built set up and he wanted to try and get it shot before he really started riding it. Since we were going to be doing a bike check anyways I figured it would be cool to break down the process of shooting a bike check and how I typically go about it. Bike checks are a perfect way to show everyone out there what you are riding and it’s a great way for pros to shout out their signature parts and help promote the companies that support them. Plus, it’s a great marketing tool for companies to have their products promoted by their team riders so it’s a win-win for everyone really. Although a bike check seems really simple there are actually a few important things to know when putting one together. Read on to get a little insight into what it takes to get one done properly and practice on your own bike or your friend’s bike today.

Do I really need to tell you Dan Foley’s welcome to G-Sport is a MUST SEE? You should have already hit play. Style for miles and a huge “What The Hell!” ender…

“GSport is proud to welcome Dan Foley to the team. Dan is one multi-talented individual – aside from his creative, unique, and insanely dialed bike riding abilities, he’s also a skilled filmer / editor and even a college graduate – he just recently finished up his communications degree with a concentration in media production, all while maintaining a career as a pro bike rider. Not too shabby.

We asked Dan’s long-time friend Terrell Gordy to write a few words about Dan:

‘I’ve come up with probably 30 different ways to describe Dan, but at the end of the day, I’m pretty psyched to just call Dan my friend.
