It has been a little while since we’ve seen a video from the Substance BMX crew, but it’s clear they’ve been busy out riding and stacking some clips along the way. “We’re back with another episode of Substance In The City, this time we shoved the guys in a couple of cars and head north to the Granite City – Aberdeen. It was a classic case of Scottish weather with sun then rain, then sun again, but we had a blast as usual. Near misses with cars, dick doinks, John the Seagull, handrails, space-age eye visors and more. Featuring Joe Jarvis, Guy Scroggie, Jack Campbell, Si Gibb, Craig Sime and Doug Souter. Enjoy!

To pass the winter months, Guy Scroggie has been spending his time inside Unit 23 Skatepark putting his pegs and freecoaster, along with plenty of nose and back wheel balance, to good use on all the different setups the park has to offer. We’re always pumped when the Substance BMX crew drop a new video and this new “Unfinished Business” video is one to be real excited about. Check out 11 minutes of pure gold featuring the crew getting down on spots around the U.K. This one is packed full of grinds and much more, so if you want to start your day off right, this is the way to do it!

Here’s one we’ve been excited to see for a minute now. Hit play to check out the new Substance video, “Substance At Home” featuring Greg Layden, Guy Scroggie, Jack Campbell, Sam Colville, Joe Jarvis, Jonny Moffat, Si Gibb, Jonny Blaikie, Craig Sime and Shahbaz getting down on their home spots in Scotland. This video is a good mix of guys we’ve been watching for a few years now and a few new, up and comers all putting in the work. Great spots, dialed riding and some clean film work. You won’t want to pass this one up!

“It’s been a year now since the release of the ‘We Are Substance’ video and it’s crazy to see the progression of Glasgow, UK’s Substance store and it’s crew. This new project, ‘Substance At Home’ has been in the works for eight months now, and between clashing commitments with filmers, leg haematomas, eagle eyed parking wardens, and some good and bad security wallopers, it’s been a rough ride but i’m sure you’ll agree the final outcome is a winner. Some unbelievable clips from the likes of Greg Layden, Joe Jarvis, Craig Sime and more – these dudes just keep getting better and better! The Substance crew are back at it again with another raw cut from some of the sessions they have been catching out in the streets of Glasgow. This time around the crew roll around to a handful of spots where they put their pegs to good use on a number of rails and ledges. This has a pretty chill vibe to it, but there’s plenty of heat to take in! Check it!

13 Years – Lucky For Some

The level of riding that the kids are putting out in edits lately is just unbelievable! Here’s one featuring 13-year old Guy Scroggie, along with a few guest clips from some friends, putting together some amazing lines using his freecoaster and some insane nose balance. This is the future and it kicks ass!
