Making of En Islande avec Anton Arnarson

February 14, 2014

Did you catch the En Islande aver Anton Arnarson video we posted up the other day? Hadrien Picard had a bunch of behind the scenes footage from the making of the video for you to check out. There’s some real good riding footage, some funny out takes, and cool lifestyle shots that didn’t make the cut for the actual video still worth seeing!

“The video « Bmx in Iceland » with Anton Arnarson has inspired your curiosity ? You want to know more on this big boy fed by metan and dry fish ? You want to smell the sulfur, see more lunar landscape and have a look behind the magical trick of hadrien picard ? This making off might fullfill you…well, maybe not the sulfur, lucky you.“

Hadrien Picard just dropped a beautiful edit of Icelandic shredder Anton Arnarson, so it’s perfect timing for Push It A Stop to do an interview with him. He talks about how he got started, how the Nokia thing came about, what else he shoots with besides the smartphone, and more. While on the Push It A Stop topic, they are running a long lens shot contest, which you can learn about here.

A Day with Brad Simms in Paris

February 10, 2014

Here’s a video Hadrien Picard cooked up when he spent some time with Brad Simms in Paris, France recently. This video doesn’t really have any riding, but it does give you a lot of insight into how he lives his life. This is great and I cannot wait to see the other video that he’s working on with the riding.

“Brad Simms is a unique BMX pro rider : He left home 7 years ago & since then has travelled by himself, only with his BMX , in more that a hundred of countries.
He was recently in Paris for a month, filming a new video part, with Sebastien Prot, that will be online very soon.
Hadrien Picard followed them a couple of days to shoot photos for the next issues of Soul & Freedom Magazine.
On the last day he took his video camera & asked him some questions about his unique way of life.

Nokia Pure Views – En Islande Avec Anton Arnarson

February 7, 2014

What happens when you team up Hadrien Picard with our favorite rider from Iceland, Anton Arnarson? You get a phenomenal video! Must see! The scene over there is dedicated for sure!

“An isolated and freezing island warmed up by volcanos. A large bmx viking warmed up by an extraordinary motivation. A Nokia Lumia 1020 in the cold hands of a courageous director. Here is an unseen combo for an unusual video showing the young gun Anton Arnarson, at home in beautiful Iceland, through the precised and tender eye of Hadrien Picard. Drop beanies and gloves, Anton is coming hot on the many good spots of Reykjavik !

You like the soundtrack, check out « For a minor Reflection », a delicate and friendly post rock band from Iceland who delivers quite some emotion on that clip.

XSories – Matthias Dandois & Sam Patraix Edit

January 16, 2014

Here’s an interesting one featuring Matthias Dandois and skateboarder, Sam Patraix! Check out both of these guys getting some time in at a skatepark where they filmed some clips to try out on the XSories pocket projector. Definitely some good riding in this and an interesting product to check out. Oh, and Hadrien Picard filmed and edited this so you know it’s done right.

The Making of Simone Barraco in Cuba

December 18, 2013

Take a peek at some leftover bonus footage that Hadrien Picard had from the trip to Cuba that him and Simone Barraco took for Nokia Pureviews! After you watch that, re-watch or watch the full edit RIGHT HERE.

Simone Barraco in Cuba – Teaser

December 6, 2013

Simone Barraco and Hadrien Picard recently spent some time filming in Cuba for the latest Nokia Pureviews video. This little teaser gives us a hint at what I’m going to assume will be an absolutely dialed video that’s coming soon!

#NOKIAPUREVIEWS – “Lost Spots”

October 21, 2013

It’s amazing what you can make with the camera on your phone and a good eye these days. Hadrien Picard and Adrien Santoluca show just how well it can be done with their Nokia Lumia phone at some really off the beaten path spots.
