Heresy BMX – Believe In A Wheel

Sebastian Grubinger coming through with some dialed latland riding for you!

Whenever we see that Heresy BMX have uploaded a new video, we know we’re in for a dialed video filled with some great flatland riding and clean film work. This new Believe In A Wheel video features Sebastian Grubinger laying down a bunch of combos. This has a pretty laid back vibe, but the riding, music and everything goes together great. Take a peek!

“Ever since I started riding winter has always been my most progressive time of the year. Very much looking forward to a big change in my life this year in May, I started to go out in December to work on some tricks I had in mind for a while. This year’s Austrian winter wasn’t too bad and temperatures around 0°C or wet floor couldn’t slow down my motivation. Early February the list of ideas was worked off.
For sure, there are always more ideas, more lists,… this never ends. But there are also more winters … and I’ll be out again, whatever conditions, and believe in a wheel.

You can always count on the Heresey BMX crew to come through with some amazing flatland and super clean film work…

The Heresy BMX crew dropped this new mix featuring Sebastian Grubinger, Alexis Desolneux and Markus Redlberger from Vienna for your viewing pleasure. This black and white video features a handful of different riders laying down some amazing flatland riding with a touch of street mixed in for good measure. It’s pretty wild how much the lines between street and flatland are blurred these days. That’s not a bad thing, either. Hit play and take this one in!

Heresy – Light

We always know we’re in for something good when the Heresy crew drop a new BMX video online. Here’s the new “Light” video we spotted over on Flat Matters that is loaded with great riding and some super clean film work. Take a look!

George sprained his foot after 30 minutes of riding on our first day and could barely walk the rest of our stay in Vienna. We kind of knew he could ride without pegs but one thing we learnt on this trip is his ability to do some tricks with one well and able foot only. We had to be bridge rats again because of heavy rain and strong wind, we were cold but we ate goulash and we were sore in the morning…but we loved every minute of it.

Alexis Desolneux – You Are Your Path

Here’s a dialed new one I spotted on Flat Matters featuring Alexis Desolneux, who has been behind the lens of all of the Heresy videos. Stoked on this self filmed gem!

“« I don’t know any friend or even professional filmer who would have the « patience » of my tripod. Filming with a tripod clearly has its limits in terms of picture quality and representation of a rider’s motion but at the same time, with this video part, this was the only way to realize it. Always available to document, always there for me with the video camera to try to capture a moment that may happen—or never. There are certainly a few things in that video that I would like to re-film better someday or just improve the riding itself. But there are also a few things that I have no certainty to ever capture again on film and, for that specific reason, self-filming was essential to manage the stress and effort of trying to make something happen — be it just once.
But this was all part of the fun in the end : the fear or doubt to never be able to realize a motion you’ve been dreaming about for months or years, abruptly replaced with the profound joy of finally doing it—being able to tell yourself that today was the day and to just go home with a big smile on your face. It is true that the journey can be more important than the destination itself but finding yourself taking a picture of that destination is not a bad feeling ! And more often than not the starting point of another journey.
With these four little minutes, I hope to share with you a little piece of the incredible fun I had building this video part and to also make you want to go out and try to catch that rare moment of yours, enjoy riding and make your day a good day in the process.
