Hoffman – Deconstruction: Art Thomason March 2013 Edit

March 27, 2013

This is awesome. Hoffman‘s Art Thomason wanted to change things up, so he filmed this session where he changed up his setup a couple different ways by removing pegs and brakes to see if he could come up with some new tricks for himself. Check out what he was able to come up with!

“Last Friday Josh D. and I decided to take various parts off of my bike (pegs, brakes) and see what tricks we could capture on film. The result is Deconstruction. At the end of the video we put everything back on to show you some of my latest tricks which combine a few different styles of riding.
Enjoy,
”

Caleb Quanbeck and Jeremie Infelise Off Hoffman Bikes

March 7, 2013

JeremieInfelise_FullPage_600x

I’m not really sure what’s going on over at Hoffman Bikes, but Jeremie Infelise and Caleb Quanbeck have decided to part ways with the brand. It sounds the brand is changing directions to get a fresh breath of air into the brand. We’ll let you know when we know more! Below you can find statements from Caleb, Jeremie and Mat.

“I would like to inform you that starting immediately I have resigned my position at Hoffman Bikes as a rider and TM.
Mat is starting a new chapter for HB which I do not feel is where I want to be in BMX.
Thanks to everyone who has helped out in any way over the past few year. I really appreciate it.
” – Jeremie Infelise

“As of today I am no longer riding for Hoffman Bikes. I have no new sponsor lined up. Unfortunately I don’t see eye to eye in where there going.” – Caleb Quanbeck

“ want to squash any rumors and tell you I own Hoffman Bikes 100% and willcontinue to.

Jeremie Infelise did an amazing job as team manager and I am very proud to have the greatest team representing Hoffman Bikes! We wish Jeremie well in the other opportunities and directions he wants to pursue.

HB has some great things happening on the horizon. I¹m excited to work closely with the team and to make 2013 and beyond progressive. – Mat Hoffman

Conversation: Keith Treanor

February 13, 2013

Wow… This is absolutely incredible. Keith Treanor is one of those legends of BMX that is definitely inspirational. A lot of people don’t really know his story about how he went from an unknown to a big name pro to almost losing everything to addiction. These days, he’s a big part of Hoffman and Sidewall Distribution along with running the website, We Have Motive. This video that Collateral dropped is pretty deep and Keith talks all about how he got to where he is today. Definitely check out this video because it’s so, so good. Hell yeah!

“This is a story for anyone who has struggled or is struggling with addiction, who may feel that there’s no other way out. Keith and I both hope this serves as motivational tool to help people realize that climbing out is possible.
I’m very fortunate in being able to call Keith Treanor one of my good friends. I met him a few years ago when he transplanted from New Jersey to my hometown of Oklahoma City. I didn’t know much about him at the time, but quickly learned. Aside from being an all around awesome guy, his passion for BMX is inspiring. I’m privileged to be able to call him my friend.

Hoffman – Brandon Webster East Coast Road Trip Edit

February 12, 2013

This is real good. Hoffman‘s Brandon Webster kills it in spots from Toronto, to New Jersey, Greenville, all the way down to Florida. I wish I could have done this when I was in high school, haha.

“16 year old Brandon Webster took a little time off school to go on a 2 week long road trip from Toronto to Miami. Working with the weather and a ton of security Brandon came through with an all around solid edit. Huge thanks to everyone that made this possible!”
