Total BMX – Blacklight and Late Nights

Total BMX got crazy with their crew for the Ride UK Warehouse Project! Crank up the black lights, throw down some crazy tricks, get Mark Webb drifting in the warehouse and throw JC Pieri on the filming and editing and you end up with one dialed video! Check it!

“Working in collaboration with RIde BMX UK we created a conceptual BMX video using UV light and reflective white UV paint. It was scarily dark for the riders but they rose to the occasion.”

How Mark Webb Came Back From A Career Ending Injury

I think the title is a little more dramatic than it actually is because ACL surgery is one of the most common surgeries BMX riders get, but at the same time it can take people off their bikes forever if they don’t try and get back on it. This video documents everything from before his surgery to going under the knife and rehabilitation. It sounds like he’s almost going to get the all clear so he can come back and destroy some ramps again! Can’t wait!

Here’s part 3 of Mark Webb’s pre-surgery sessions he got in. Since Mark’s knee wasn’t having any of it, he was putting some time in seeing what he could do flatland wise. Turns out he has quite a few moves. Take a peek!

“Professional BMX rider Mark Webb has a knee injury that is going to keep him off two wheels for the next six months. Before his surgery, he wanted to ride one last time, but not in his typical BMX style… Mark came to France for his knee and ankle surgeries and for his last ride, there were no tailwhips, no barspines – just some crazy flatland moves to show that he’s able to do everything on a bike, even with a really bad injury. One Day with Chris Courtenay

This video is kind of crazy if you think about it… Chris Courtenay flew from Australia to California for a few months of sun and spots and JC Pieri made a trip over from France to film… They ended up crossing paths and spending a day together where they filmed this dialed video of Chris throwing down at a handful of parks! Just crazy how BMX works like that, haha. Enjoy!
