In a world where, thanks to technology, we see countless videos on a daily basis, there’s definitely an appreciation for film work that has a lot of quality, time and effort put into it in comparison to 15 second clips filmed during a quick session. Our good friend JC Pieri is an example of a film maker that is always producing high quality videos that really show more than just the crazy riding that went down. The other day we were fortunate enough to get a sneak preview of his latest video project “GTTNSIDEWAYS” that he worked on with Coco Zurita. This video is much more than just your typical BMX video and incorporates some amazing locations, Coco’s motorcycle, car and riding and some great film work. We were beyond psyched on this video, so we figured it would be cool to talk to JC and Coco to find out a little bit of what went into the 10 days they spent working on the video! Check out the interview below along with the trailer. The full video will be online February 15th and you will not be disappointed!
Here’s one we’re really excited to show you guys because we have been working with our good friend JC Pieri and Coco Zurita on an interview that will be dropping tomorrow talking about their new film project, GTTNSIDEWAYS, that will be dropping soon! Above is the teaser to give you just a taste of what’s to come… Trust us when we say the full video is a masterpiece. Enjoy and get psyched.

Total BMX got crazy with their crew for the Ride UK Warehouse Project! Crank up the black lights, throw down some crazy tricks, get Mark Webb drifting in the warehouse and throw JC Pieri on the filming and editing and you end up with one dialed video! Check it!
“Working in collaboration with RIde BMX UK we created a conceptual BMX video using UV light and reflective white UV paint. It was scarily dark for the riders but they rose to the occasion.”
We’ve know JC Pieri for quite some time now and one thing that has always stood out to us beside his amazing film work and creative riding style is his bikes! They always have something crazy going on with them that really catches your attention and makes you want to take a closer look. JC recently built him up a fresh new Total BMX Voltron setup and then had his own special touch put on it, so we knew there was no better time than now to do a bike check with him! Take a closer look at his bike along with some extra questions to see just what he has been getting into these days!

Can’t go wrong when you team Danny Josa and JC Pieri up together! They only had 15 minutes, but it looks like they made the best of it for this one.
“We had 15min left before the end of the session and the sunset was pretty nice at this time. We wanted to enjoy the sunset then we filmed this quick edit

I think the title is a little more dramatic than it actually is because ACL surgery is one of the most common surgeries BMX riders get, but at the same time it can take people off their bikes forever if they don’t try and get back on it. This video documents everything from before his surgery to going under the knife and rehabilitation. It sounds like he’s almost going to get the all clear so he can come back and destroy some ramps again! Can’t wait!
“Mark Webb may be one of the best bmx riders in the world, but he isn’t superhuman and every time he rides he risks getting injured. Years of hard riding wore down Mark’s left ACL. He continued to ride on it but eventually had to get surgery in september 2013. It’s been a tough process but Mark is now in the road to recovery. Here’s the inspiring story of how one man rebuilt his body and mind after injury threatened to derail his career. A film directed by JC Pieri“
