A Margarita Session at Standard Bykes

Now this is a BMX video that we were pumped to see turn up in the inbox this morning. Jerrod Glasgow hit us with a link to a video he put together from some of the riding that went down during a session on the Margarita ramps in the Standard Bykes warehouse in Davenport, Iowa. This video has a super Midwest vibe to it with just a lot of technical lip tricks and creativity. Hit play and take a look! This does not disappoint.

Holy Half Pipe 2016

Always stoked to see what the Team Iowa crew are getting into! Here’s some highlights from the “Holy Half Pipe Jam” that went down the other weekend at the Skate Church! This has a good mix of riders and styles from the front brake magicians like Bobbie Altiser to the brakeless guys. All in all, it looks like it was a super good jam! Check out the highlights.

Standard Bykes – A Day At Ray’s Milwaukee

When the Standard Bykes crew meet up, you know there’s going to be a good session that will be going down! This past weekend some of the crew decided to meet up at Ray’s MTB Milwaukee for a session. Above is a highlight reel of what went down. This isn’t your typical nibbler street edit, this is a bunch of real dialed ramp riding packed with turndowns, look backs and some front brake magic. Burly Jam 2015 – Part 1

On June 13th, BMX riders from all over the place made their way to Burlington, Iowa to ride the Dankward Skatepark for the one and only Burly BMX Jam! Above is a video that gives you a look at the highlights from the entire day from the riding to the karaoke that that went down at the after party. You can see riding from guys like Bobbie Altiser, Dan Hylton, Jared Schlesselman, Habo Gutierrez and Glenn Salyers. This is what a proper BMX Jam looks like! It’s such a bummer knowing that we won’t be seeing Glenn blasting airs like he is doing in the end anymore. We’ve included a link to donate to his memorial fund below! Expect part 2 soon…

Colorado Trip

Nothing better than a summer road trip with a few of your friends! David Buseman, Jared Schlesselman and Jerrod Glasgow loaded up in a van and headed from Iowa out west to Colorado for a few days of skateparks, trails and sight seeing. This video gives you a good look at the riding that went down. This has a good mix of new school and old school riding which makes for a real interesting watch. Overall, definitely a BMX video worth checking out!
