Fit Bike Co. – SF-It

Have you ever watched a BMX video that really made you feel like you’re in an older generation of riders than what’s going on right now? This video Fit Bike Co. released from the trip that their young guns Justin Spriet, Matt Nordstrom and Ethan Corriere took to San Francisco did that exact thing for us, haha. Not to say that we don’t love this video.. We’re just wondering how the hell these guys are old enough to get a rental van now, haha. It’s also clear these guys are the future of BMX as well. Either way, this BMX video is over 9 minutes of pure GOLD from the trip. It’s broken down into sections with Ethan up first, followed by Matt and then wrapped up with Justin. This is a MUST See video for sure..

Justin Spriet on Odyssey

Well here’s some news that isn’t a complete surprise since Justin Spriet has been on FIRE lately… Justin is now doing it for Odyssey! It sounds like they have already been putting him to work on trips, so we should be seeing some footage to go along with this news sooner than later. Get the official word from team manager, Walter Pieringer, below!

“I’m stoked to welcome Justin Spriet to Odyssey! I’m sure you know Justin kills it, and he’s already friends with everybody on the team, so getting him on board made perfect sense.

Justin raced for nine years – since he was four years old – which explains a lot about his control and confidence on a bicycle. Nowadays he can get down on dirt, ramps, and street, and he always makes it look smooth and clean. His versatility is impressive to say the least.

Justin wrapped up his first Odyssey filming trip last week, and I’ll just say I’m more confident than ever that he’s a great addition to the squad. He’ll also be joining us this week on the ODYSSEY/QBP trip in Southern California, so if you’re in the area come hang out and meet our newest addition.” – Walter Pieringer

Fit Bike Co. – Begin, Hango, Long and Spriet Welcome to the Pro Team

Well, here’s some news that I don’t think anyone saw coming like this! Fit Bike Co. have all been bumped Brandon Begin, Jordan Hango, Morgan Long and Justin Spriet up to the Pro team! Each of these guys have been kicking a lot of ass for quite some time and if you saw their footage in the “Holy Fit” DVD it is pretty clear as to why these guys have all been moved up! Now, check out their Welcome edit that also provides plenty of evidence as to why as well!

“Well, it’s official, Brandon Begin, Jordan Hango, Morgan Long and Justin Spriet have been bumped and the Fit Pro Team just got a little “heavier.”

Hango and Spriet’s standout sections in Holy Fit, Begin’s brand of tech/Toro street and Long’s dedication and originality are just a few reasons why the foursome have earned spots alongside our established pros.

We sent the squad to Arizona a couple weeks ago to film a “Welcome to the Team” edit and here you have it! Good dudes, good moves, good times.

Review: “Holy Fit”

In this day and age, thanks to the advancement of technology we are constantly flooded with new videos from around the world all day, every day. The concept of a web video has a lot of different meanings and obviously a lot of quality differences between total shit and “why isn’t this on DVD?”… Every year, we see fewer and fewer DVD’s released due to many factors, most of which come down to money and the reach a video has as a hard copy versus being released online. Despite the cost effectiveness and the simplicity of releasing a video online, there is still a clear reason why DVD’s are being produced, and that’s because the quality is far beyond something that deserves being watched for a few days before it is quickly buried and forgotten in fast moving river of online content.
We have been hearing about Fit Bike Co.‘s 4th DVD release, “Holy Fit”, for quite a while now and we were excited for a lot of reasons about the video being released. Once we saw the final product, it was clear that this video wasn’t just another video project that costs had to be cut to make happen. Let’s talk about this for a little bit…
